CoyoteVest SpikeVest Dog Harness, XXS Neon Pink, with Removable Spikes

CoyoteVest SpikeVest is a dog harness designed to help slow or prevent surprise attacks, with puncture-resistant Cordura fabric and removable spikes for neck and back coverage.

• Made in the USA, XXS size in neon pink — a specific size and color option.
• Puncture-resistant Cordura fabric — designed to resist sharp teeth from coyotes and aggressive dogs.
• Removable hard-plastic chrome spikes — provide coverage at the neck and along two strips on the back.
• Two wide Velcro belts and a leash D-ring — secure the vest and provide a leash-attachment point.
• Reflective features and water-repellent construction — support visibility at night and use in wet conditions.

For dog owners who want extra time to react if a coyote or aggressive dog approaches, SpikeVest combines protective coverage with a leash connection in one wearable vest. It is intended to help slow or prevent a surprise attack; it does not guarantee that injury will be prevented. A proper fit starts with measuring your dog while standing and matching the measurement to the sizing chart.

How is the SpikeVest designed to protect a dog?

The vest uses puncture-resistant Cordura fabric and spikes across the neck and back to help resist bites from coyotes and aggressive dogs. The removable spikes are made from very hard plastic and attach with Velcro, so they can be added or removed. The product’s purpose is to help slow or prevent a surprise attack and give you time to react before a serious injury occurs.

• Neck spikes and two spike strips for the back are included.
• The fabric is described as stab-resistant as well as puncture-resistant.

How do I choose the right SpikeVest size?

Measure your dog standing up, from the front shoulder straight to the start of the tail, then compare that measurement with the sizing chart. Keep the tape straight rather than curving it around your dog; if you remain uncertain after measuring, choose the smaller size. This listing is for XXS in neon pink.

• Measure while your dog is standing, not sitting.
• Use the shoulder-to-tail measurement for sizing.

How does the SpikeVest fasten, and what attaches to a leash?

Two wide belts fasten with Velcro, and a D-ring provides a place to connect a leash. This closure differs from the CoyoteVest design, which uses nylon straps with snap buckles. Reflective features help make the dog more visible at night.

• The spikes can also be attached or removed with Velcro.
• The SpikeVest is water-repellent and contains no metal, so it does not rust.

How should I clean the SpikeVest?

Hand wash it with mild detergent and let it air dry in the shade. These care steps suit the water-repellent vest without requiring a machine wash or heated drying.

• Use mild detergent for hand washing.
• Air dry in the shade.

CoyoteVest SpikeVest is best suited to owners seeking a wearable layer of neck and back coverage, a leash connection, and reflective details for their dog; this XXS neon pink version combines those features with puncture-resistant fabric and removable spikes.
