CoyoteVest SpikeVest Protective Dog Vest, XS Neon Pink with Removable Spikes

CoyoteVest SpikeVest is an XS neon pink dog vest designed to help slow or prevent a surprise attack, with removable hard-plastic spikes and a leash D-ring.

• Made in the USA in XS neon pink — identifies the size and color at a glance.
• Puncture-resistant Cordura fabric — provides a protective layer against sharp canine teeth.
• Removable spikes for the neck and two strips along the back — add coverage where dogs may be vulnerable.
• Two wide Velcro belts — fasten the SpikeVest with a different closure system from the CoyoteVest’s nylon straps and snap buckles.
• Reflective features and a leash D-ring — support visibility and leash attachment.

For walks and time outdoors, the SpikeVest is made for owners who want their dog to wear a protective vest when coyotes or aggressive dogs may be a concern. Its purpose is to help create time to react if a surprise attack occurs, rather than promise that an attack or injury can be prevented.

What protection does the CoyoteVest SpikeVest provide?

The SpikeVest combines puncture-resistant Cordura fabric with removable spikes to help protect a dog’s neck and back. The fabric is stab-resistant and made to withstand sharp canine teeth, including those of coyotes and aggressive dogs. The spikes are made from very hard plastic, are safe to handle, and attach or detach with Velcro.

• Neck spikes and two back spike strips are included.
• The spikes can be removed when you want to wear the vest without them.

How do I choose the right SpikeVest size?

Measure your dog while standing and use the sizing chart before choosing a size. Measure in a straight line from the front shoulder to the start of the tail; do not curve the tape along the dog’s body. If the measurement leaves you uncertain between sizes, choose the smaller size.

• Measure from the front shoulder to the start of the tail.
• Take the measurement with your dog standing, not sitting.

Good to know: XS is the size shown for this neon pink SpikeVest; use your dog’s measurement and the sizing chart to assess fit.

How does the SpikeVest fasten, and how should I care for it?

Two wide Velcro belts secure the vest, while a D-ring provides a point to connect a leash. Reflective features help make your dog more visible at night. The water-repellent vest contains no metal, so it does not rust.

• Hand wash with mild detergent.
• Air dry in the shade.

The CoyoteVest SpikeVest suits owners looking for an XS protective dog vest with removable neck and back spikes, a leash attachment, and reflective details. It is designed for added protection from canine teeth, with fit chosen by measuring a standing dog from shoulder to tail.
