Dan's Hunting Gear Upland Briar Shirt is an orange, large hunting shirt for warm-weather dog work, with briar-proof coverage on the sleeves, shoulders, and chest.

• Nylon sleeves and shoulders with briar-proof protection — adds coverage where briars can brush against you.
• Lightweight, durable cotton duck — made for warm-weather wear.

• Made in the U.S.A. — carries a clear country-of-origin detail.
• Orange, size Large — identifies this shirt’s color and size.

Upland work with dogs can mean moving through areas where briars meet exposed clothing. This shirt is made for that setting, with protective coverage alongside a lightweight cotton duck body. It is also intended to work as a complement to unlined bibs when running dogs in summer, giving shoppers a clear use case for warm-weather outings.

Where does the shirt provide briar protection?

Dan's Hunting Gear provides briar-proof coverage across the sleeves, shoulders, and chest. The sleeves and shoulders are nylon, placing that material in two of the areas specifically identified for protection. The chest is also included in the coverage description, so the protective area is not limited to the arms.

• Coverage includes sleeves, shoulders, and chest.
• Nylon is used on the sleeves and shoulders.

Is this shirt made for warm-weather hunting?

Yes. The shirt is designed for comfortable wear in warm weather, and its lightweight cotton duck construction suits the summer dog-running use described for it. It pairs with unlined bibs as a complementary shirt; this is a warm-weather upland layer rather than a description of insulated clothing.

• Intended for warm-weather use.
• Made to complement unlined bibs while running dogs in summer.

What material and pocket details should I expect?

The shirt combines lightweight, durable cotton duck material with two chest pockets. Cotton duck forms the shirt’s lightweight body, while the listed nylon components are on the sleeves and shoulders. The chest pockets are built into the shirt, keeping the pocket placement on the front of the garment.

• Cotton duck material.
• Two chest pockets.

Upland hunters looking for a warm-weather shirt for running dogs will find the intended use and protective coverage clearly matched in this garment. Its orange color, Large size, cotton duck body, and briar-proof coverage across the sleeves, shoulders, and chest make it a specific choice for summer field use, not a claim of full-body briar protection.
