Devopet Aquarium UV Light for Green Water, 6W for 75.7–151 L Tanks with Timer

Devopet Aquarium U-V Light is a 6W algae-cleaning lamp for 20–40 gallon (about 76–151 L) fish tanks, designed to help clear green water with 254 nm ultraviolet light.

• 6W power for 20–40 gallon tanks — matches the stated aquarium capacity range.
• 254 nm ultraviolet light — targets green algae blooms in the water.
• Sealed epoxy resin housing — shields the UV light to prevent harmful light leakage.
• Four timer settings with daily cycling and power-off memory — supports scheduled operation.
• Built-in viewing window — lets you check whether the lamp is working.

Green, cloudy water can make it harder to enjoy a clear view of an aquarium. This lamp is made for aquarium setups where green algae blooms are affecting water clarity, with options for both in-line and in-tank placement. Its timer and viewing window make it possible to set an operating duration and check the lamp without relying on guesswork.

How does the Devopet Aquarium U-V Light help with green water?

The lamp uses 254 nm ultraviolet light to address green algae blooms, helping cloudy green water become clearer. It is intended for aquarium water rather than general room lighting, and its shielded housing is designed to keep harmful UV light from leaking out.

• Sealed housing is made with epoxy resin.
• A viewing window provides a way to monitor the lamp’s working status.

How can I place the Devopet Aquarium U-V Light in my setup?

Use it in-line with a canister filter or water pump, or place it in the tank or filtration system. For in-line installation, connect a hose with a 5/8-inch (1.59 cm) inner diameter. For in-tank use, choose a position with stable water flow to support its operation.

• In-line connection: canister filter or water pump.
• In-tank placement: aquarium or filtration system.

What timer options does the Devopet Aquarium U-V Light have?

Choose a preset duration of 4, 8, 12, or 24 hours. After setting the timer, the lamp cycles automatically each day; its power-off memory retains the timer setting when power is interrupted.

• Four preset operating durations.
• Automatic daily cycling after setup.

This lamp suits aquarists with a 20–40 gallon tank who want a UV light for green-water algae control and need either an in-line or in-tank setup. It is also made for freshwater, saltwater, and turtle habitats. Its capacity range, two placement options, and preset timer make it a fit for those specific aquarium routines.
