Doglay Dog Life Jacket for Swimming and Boating, Adjustable Fit with Reflective Strips

Doglay Dog Life Jacket is an adjustable flotation vest designed to support dogs during swimming and boating, with high-buoyancy material and reflective strips for visibility around water.

• High-buoyancy flotation material — helps keep your dog supported in the water.
• Bright colors and reflective strips — make your dog easier to spot in water and low-light conditions.
• Adjustable belt and hook-and-loop closure — help create a close fit across different body shapes.
• Top rescue handle and leash attachment — provide ways to guide or lift your dog and connect a leash.
• Breathable mesh underbelly — allows water to drain and helps the vest dry quickly.

Water can be challenging for dogs that are new to swimming, tire easily, or need extra support during gentle water exercise. This vest is made for pool, lake, river and ocean outings, as well as boating, paddleboarding, kayaking and hydrotherapy. It gives owners practical ways to support and guide a dog while the dog gets accustomed to the water.

How does the Doglay Dog Life Jacket support dogs in water?

The vest combines high-buoyancy material with a breathable mesh underbelly to help keep a dog afloat while allowing water to drain. Its polyester oxford and nylon construction is paired with flotation material, and the mesh is designed to dry quickly after a swim. For a dog experiencing water for the first time, the added flotation may help build confidence as they become familiar with the water at their own pace.

• Suitable for swimming in pools, lakes, rivers and the ocean.
• Can be used for hydrotherapy and gentle water exercise.
• Start in shallow water and let your dog get comfortable gradually.

How do I choose the right size?

Choose by your dog’s measurements, with chest girth as the decisive measurement for this half-length vest. Compare every measurement on the size chart before selecting a size; if your dog falls between two sizes, choose the larger one for a more comfortable fit. The adjustable belt and hook-and-loop closure allow the vest to be fitted to different body shapes, but an accurate measurement is still important.

• Measure chest girth and compare the other listed measurements with the size chart.
• The vest is a half-length style, so fit depends on the dog’s body measurements.
• Dogs between two sizes are recommended to wear the larger size.

What features help when guiding or lifting a dog?

The top handle gives you a way to guide or lift your dog during a water outing, while the heavy-duty leash attachment provides a point to connect a leash. Bright colors and reflective strips are designed to make the dog easier to locate in water and in low-light conditions. The adjustable closure makes the vest easier to put on and take off.

• Use the top handle to help guide your dog or assist with getting them out of the water.
• Attach a leash to the vest’s heavy-duty hook.
• Reflective strips add visibility in dim conditions.

Which dogs and activities is this vest made for?

Doglay makes this life jacket for puppies, first-time or nervous swimmers, senior dogs, and dogs that may need added support in the water. Dogs with short legs, dense bodies or flat faces—including Bulldogs, Pugs and Dachshunds—can have difficulty swimming; even capable swimmers may tire in waves, currents or deep water. The vest is also intended for boating, canoeing, fishing, beach outings, camping near water and paddleboarding or kayaking. It can assist with hydrotherapy for older dogs or dogs with joint concerns such as arthritis or hip dysplasia, and is suitable for water activity during post-surgery recovery.

• Designed for small, medium and large dogs, with fit determined by measurements.
• Useful for puppies learning to swim and senior dogs with reduced stamina.
• Lightweight construction and quick-drying mesh suit repeat water outings.

This vest is a practical fit for owners who take their dogs boating or swimming, or who want flotation support during a gradual introduction to water or gentle hydrotherapy. It is especially relevant for puppies, older dogs and breeds that may struggle with swimming. Its adjustable closure, buoyancy material, reflective details and handling features bring water support and visibility together in one dog life jacket.
