Doglay Dog Life Jacket with Rescue Handle, Adjustable Reflective Swim Vest

Doglay Dog Life Jacket is an adjustable flotation vest for swimming and boating, with high-buoyancy material, reflective strips and a top rescue handle.

• High-buoyancy material — adds flotation support for dogs in the water.
• Bright colors and reflective strips — make your dog easier to spot in water and low-light conditions.
• Top rescue handle and leash attachment — help you guide or lift your dog and attach a leash.
• Adjustable belt and hook-and-loop fastening — let you tailor the fit around your dog’s body.
• Breathable mesh underbelly — allows water drainage and helps the vest dry quickly.

Water can be challenging for dogs that are new to swimming, tire easily or need support during gentle water activity. This vest is made for supervised outings in pools, lakes, rivers and oceans, as well as boat trips and water sports. Its flotation support and visible design are also intended for puppies learning around water, senior dogs and dogs taking part in hydrotherapy.

What activities is the Doglay Dog Life Jacket made for?

Doglay makes this vest for swimming, boating and other activities around water. It can be used for pool sessions, beach outings, fishing, paddleboarding, kayaking, canoeing and camping near water. For dogs encountering water for the first time, the vest provides buoyancy and a way for a person to guide and support them while they become familiar with the environment.

• Suitable settings include pools, lakes, rivers and the ocean.
• Made for boat trips on boats and pontoons, as well as paddling activities.
• Can be used for hydrotherapy and gentle water exercise, including for older dogs or dogs with limited mobility.
• Dogs with short legs, dense bodies or flat faces may find swimming more difficult; even strong swimmers can tire in waves, currents or deep water.

What provides flotation and helps the vest dry?

The vest combines high-buoyancy material with a construction of polyester Oxford and nylon. Doglay describes the flotation material as the type used in human life jackets. A breathable mesh panel beneath the dog allows water to drain, helping the vest dry quickly after use.

• The vest is a half-length suit rather than a full-body garment.
• Its lightweight construction is intended to let dogs move freely during water play.
• The mesh underbelly provides drainage rather than holding water against the dog.

How do you choose the right fit?

Use chest girth as the decisive measurement when choosing a Doglay Dog Life Jacket size. The vest has an adjustable belt and hook-and-loop fastening to help create a close, comfortable fit across different body shapes. Measure your dog and compare the measurements with the size chart before selecting a size; if your dog’s measurement falls between two sizes, choose the larger one for a more comfortable fit.

• Check every measurement shown in the size chart, with particular attention to chest girth.
• Adjust the belt and fastening so the half-length vest sits comfortably on your dog.
• Fit depends on your dog’s measurements, not breed name alone.

How can you guide or retrieve your dog?

A handle on top of the Doglay vest gives you a point to hold when guiding or lifting your dog in an urgent situation. A heavy-duty leash hook provides an attachment point for a leash, while the bright colors and reflective strips help keep your dog visible around water, including in low light.

• Use the top handle to assist with lifting your dog back onto a boat or dock.
• The leash attachment is intended for securing a leash during water outings.
• Visibility details are designed for spotting your dog in both daytime and low-light conditions.

This vest is suited to dog owners who take puppies, senior dogs or other dogs that benefit from added flotation on boating, swimming and hydrotherapy outings. Choose the size by chest measurement and use the adjustable fit for your dog’s body. Its buoyant construction, visible details and top rescue handle bring practical water-safety features together in a half-length dog vest.
