Getting onto a high bed or couch can be difficult for pets that are small, short-legged or older. These indoor stairs provide a series of steps between the floor and a raised surface, giving pets a way to climb without making a single jump. The four-step version is suited to medium and higher beds, including beds around 23 inches tall.

What height can the four-step stairs reach?

The four-step Elevon dog stairs are intended for beds up to 23.5 inches (59.7 cm) high. For a bed around 23 inches (58.4 cm), the four-step option is recommended to make climbing easier. The product range also includes a three-step version for sofas and lower beds up to 18 inches (45.7 cm); this page is for the four-step model.

• Overall bed-height guidance: up to 23.5 inches.
• Three-step option: for surfaces up to 18 inches.

How are the steps sized?

The four-tier layout uses a wider first step followed by three narrower steps. This creates an extended, gentle incline for pets reaching a higher surface. The first step measures 66 × 46 × 15 cm (26.0 × 18.1 × 5.9 in); the second measures 46 × 34 × 15 cm (18.1 × 13.4 × 5.9 in); and the third and fourth each measure 46 × 18 × 15 cm (18.1 × 7.1 × 5.9 in).

• Wider first step provides the base of the climbing path.
• Three further tiers continue the climb toward the bed or couch.

What materials are used, and how do you clean the stairs?

Elevon dog stairs have a 20D sponge interior and a cover made from 300D cationic Oxford cloth coated with PA. The cover unzips for removal and washing, while the inner foam is not washable. After taking the foam out of its compression bag, allow 24–48 hours for it to expand to its original shape before use.

• Remove the cover by unzipping it, then wash and reassemble it.
• Keep the inner foam out of the wash.
• Allow the compressed foam 24–48 hours to expand.

These grey indoor stairs suit households looking to help a small dog, cat, short-legged pet or senior companion reach a bed or couch. The four-step design is intended for raised surfaces up to 23.5 inches, with a removable washable cover and a foam interior that must be kept dry during cleaning.
