Keeping a pet’s coat neat between grooming appointments calls for tools suited to different areas and coat textures. This set is made for everyday grooming at home, including trimming around the head and ears, shaping facial fur, and tidying legs and backs. It is intended for dogs and cats; the product features also identify small, medium and large dogs as suitable for the kit.

What tools are included in the FAIGEO 4-piece kit?

The set contains curved shears, thinning shears, straight shears and a metal grooming comb. The curved shears are intended for head and ear trimming, while the straight shears are made for precise trimming on legs and backs. The comb has both wide and close teeth for working through fur.

• Curved shears for shaping around the head and ears.
• Straight shears for trimming legs and backs.
• Metal comb with wide and close teeth; the comb is suited to small and medium pets and dogs.

Are these shears suitable for thick or tangled coats?

Yes, the shears are made to work with thick, long, curly and tangled coats. The thinning shears have 26 teeth with clear tips for cutting and blending longer or thicker fur, while smooth convex blades are designed for steady, clean cuts.

• Use thinning shears for facial-fur blending.
• Use straight shears for precise trimming on the legs and back.

How do the safety and fit features work?

The curved shears have rounded tips for trimming delicate spots such as the face, ears, eyes and nose, helping reduce the chance of accidental scratches. Removable soft rubber finger pads provide a cushioned grip and can be taken out to accommodate different finger sizes. Adjust the screw to change shear tightness for a more customized trimming feel.

• Rounded tips for close work around sensitive areas.
• Removable rubber pads and adjustable screw for grip and tension preferences.

The shears are made from stainless steel and have a black finish; the finish is a color choice, not a different stated cutting performance. The steel construction is designed to be easy to clean and suitable for regular use. This kit suits pet owners who want a range of tools for routine coat care at home, from detail trimming to combing. It is a four-piece set for grooming dogs and cats, with the comb specifically suited to small and medium pets and dogs.
