Indoor cats need an appropriate outlet for scratching as well as opportunities to play. This post brings those activities together in one piece of cat furniture, helping direct scratching away from sofas, curtains, and carpets while giving cats toys to engage with. Its classic design is made for home use and suits kittens and adult cats.

How does the FDW scratching post help protect furniture?

It gives cats a dedicated sisal-covered post for their natural scratching behavior. Placing a scratching surface in the home can help keep claws off furniture and carpet, while the attached toys add an opportunity for play. The design is intended for indoor cats and is suitable for cats of all sizes.

• Made for scratching and play in the home.
• Designed to help redirect scratching from sofas, curtains, and carpets.
• Suitable for kittens and adult cats.

What materials make up the post and base?

The scratching surface uses sisal-hemp and sisal rope, and the base is made from MDF board covered with soft fabric. The solid base is designed to add stability during scratching and play, while the fabric provides a soft covering.

• Sisal rope covers the scratching area.
• The base combines MDF board and soft fabric.
• Plush balls are positioned at different heights for play.

Can you replace worn sections, and how is the post assembled?

Yes. The detachable splicing structure lets you replace individual worn parts rather than the entire post. Assembly and disassembly take minutes, and the lightweight design makes the post easy to move around the home or store when it is not in use.

• Sections connect through a detachable splicing design.
• Individual parts can be replaced as they wear.
• No complex installation is described; the post is designed for beginner-friendly assembly.

The FDW Cat Scratching Post is suited to households looking for a combined scratching and play option for indoor kittens or adult cats, with a design intended to help protect household furniture. Its sisal scratching surface, fabric-covered MDF base, and replaceable sections bring scratching, play, and practical upkeep together in one post.
