This retractable tape leash is made for everyday walks and outings where a dog can benefit from some movement while remaining connected to its handler. Its tape format, brake system and guidance mechanism are designed to support controlled leash handling. The model is identified as large; the product details do not give a dog-weight limit, so the size label alone should not be treated as a specific weight rating.

How does the FLEXI Classic tape leash help with control?

The FLEXI Classic uses a patented brake system for controlled stopping and quick maneuvers. The brake is designed to let the handler respond during a walk, while the retractable format allows tape to extend and retract as the dog moves.

• Patented brake mechanism for leash control.
• Retractable tape format for walking and outings.

How does the tape extend and retract?

The 360° tape guidance system guides the leash as it extends and retracts. FLEXI says this design helps prevent tangles and supports smooth tape handling, so the tape can follow a dog’s movement during a walk.

• 360° guidance for tape movement.
• Designed to help prevent tangles during extension and retraction.

What does large size and 16 ft mean for choosing this leash?

This black FLEXI Classic is the large-size model with 16 ft of tape. FLEXI makes leashes in different lengths and sizes for dogs with different breeds and temperaments, but this product’s details do not provide a weight range for the large model.

• Choose based on the stated size and length; no dog-weight limit is provided for this model.
