FOGOSP Curved Dog Grooming Scissors Set, Turquoise 3-Piece with 30° and 45° Shears

FOGOSP’s three-piece curved dog grooming scissors set is made for shaping and texturizing coat, with 30° and 45° curves and two 7.5-inch (19.05 cm) shears.

• Three tools: 45° curved scissors, curved thinning shears and curved chunkers — a set for shaping and texturizing.
• 45° large-arc curved scissors — designed to create curved finishes with less grooming effort during heavy daily work.
• 7.5-inch (19.05 cm), 30° curved chunkers with an 80% thinning rate — trim medium and large dogs for a fluffy, natural effect.
• 7.5-inch (19.05 cm), 30° curved thinning shears with a 30% thinning rate — shape coat while removing less hair per cut than the chunkers.
• Japanese 440C stainless steel with manually adjusted blades — made for close blade contact and cutting without pinching hair.

Curved shears help groomers form rounded contours, while thinning tools blend and texturize coat. This set brings together a large-arc shear for demanding daily grooming and two 30° tools for curved trimming on medium and large dogs. The turquoise three-piece combination is intended for shaping a fluffy, natural-looking finish and making arc trimming more manageable.

What comes in the FOGOSP curved grooming scissors set?

The set contains three curved shears: one 45° curved scissor, one 30° curved thinning shear and one 30° curved chunker. The thinning shear and chunker are each 7.5 inches (19.05 cm) long; the 45° shear’s length is not provided here.

FOGOSP’s 30° arc is made for common curved-trimming work. The chunker combines shaping with coat thinning, while the thinning shear is intended for lighter texturizing. Together, the tools cover different thinning levels and curved-finishing tasks.

• One 45° large-arc curved scissor.
• One 30° curved thinning shear and one 30° curved chunker.
• Turquoise three-piece combination.

How do the curved thinning shears and chunkers differ?

The chunkers have an 80% thinning rate, while the curved thinning shears have a 30% thinning rate. Both are 7.5 inches (19.05 cm) long and have a 30° curve, but their different thinning rates suit distinct texturizing needs.

FOGOSP presents the chunkers for efficient trimming on medium and large dogs, with a fluffy, natural effect as the intended result. The thinner-rate shears are for curved trimming and texturizing with a 30% thinning rate. The 45° shear serves a separate role: its larger arc is designed to form curved shapes for groomers with heavy daily workloads.

• 30° curved chunkers: 80% thinning rate.
• 30° curved thinning shears: 30% thinning rate.
• 45° curved scissors: large arc for shaping curved finishes.

What are the blades made of, and how are they finished?

The shears use Japanese 440C stainless steel and Japanese scissor-making techniques. FOGOSP says its professional technicians manually polish and adjust the shears so the blades meet closely, cut smoothly and do not pinch hair.

FOGOSP has focused on hair-cutting and dog-grooming scissors for nearly 20 years. Each pair is manually polished and produced as part of its grooming-scissors manufacturing work. For groomers choosing tools for frequent curved trimming, this set combines two 30° texturizing options with a larger 45° arc; the 7.5-inch tools are sized for the medium- and large-dog grooming tasks described above.
