Repeated licking and scratching can traumatize a hot spot and reopen healing skin; licking can also introduce bacteria. Blue Butter is made for pet first-aid and skin care when irritation, minor skin damage or cracked paw pads need attention. Its protective barrier is intended to keep external irritants away and help maintain skin hydration, supporting the product’s wound-protection and infection-prevention purpose.

What skin concerns is Blue Butter made for?

Forticept Blue Butter is intended for hot spots, wounds, bites, scratches and irritated skin in dogs and cats. It is designed to help soothe itching, redness and irritation, while reducing the licking, chewing and scratching that can repeatedly disturb an affected area. By helping interrupt that itch–lick–scratch cycle, the gel can help reduce further trauma at the same site.

• Use it as a first-aid skin-care gel for common surface concerns.
• Its intended use includes both dogs and cats.

How does the gel protect damaged skin?

The polymer formula forms a barrier that helps keep external irritants from reaching the skin and helps keep the area hydrated. These conditions support skin protection and healing without relying on alcohol, antibiotics or steroids. Rub the gel in; it does not leave a greasy residue afterward.

• The barrier supports protection from external factors.
• Moisture support is part of the formula’s role in skin care.

Can Blue Butter be used on cracked paw pads?

Yes. Forticept Blue Butter moisturizes and helps restore damaged, cracked paw pads. The same rub-in gel creates a protective layer without leaving a greasy residue, making it suitable for paw-pad care as well as other listed skin-care uses.

• Made for moisturizing cracked pads.
• Developed by a veterinarian for pet skin care.

Blue Butter suits dog and cat owners looking for one gel for hot spots, minor wounds, scratches, bites or dry, cracked paw pads. Its veterinarian-developed, polymer-based formula combines moisture support with a protective skin barrier in a 3-ounce gel made in the USA.
