After surgery or childbirth, pets may need a covering that helps protect the affected area while allowing ordinary movement. FUAMEY’s recovery suit is made for post-operative care as well as postpartum care, indoor and outdoor activity, and relaxed home wear. Its bodysuit format is a flexible, lighter alternative to a collar, including during eating and toileting.

What is the FUAMEY recovery suit designed to help with?

It is designed to cover a pet’s body and help prevent licking at a wound after surgery. The suit is suitable for care after neutering or a caesarean section, and for female dogs after giving birth. It can also be used as a postpartum weaning gown.

• For male dogs, it can be worn with a diaper to help prevent urine from escaping onto the surroundings.
• For postpartum use, it is intended to help female dogs avoid catching cold.

How do I choose the right size?

Compare your pet’s back and chest measurements with the ranges below, and use the weight range as an additional guide. The size options are X-Small through XX-Large.

• X-Small: back 8.3–11.4 in (21.1–29 cm), chest 12.6–15.7 in (32–39.9 cm), weight 4–7 lb (1.8–3.2 kg).
• Small: back 11.4–13.4 in (29–34 cm), chest 15.7–19.3 in (39.9–49 cm), weight 7–15 lb (3.2–6.8 kg).
• Medium: back 13.4–16.1 in (34–40.9 cm), chest 19.3–23.2 in (49–58.9 cm), weight 14–25 lb (6.4–11.3 kg).
• Large: back 16.1–20.1 in (40.9–51.1 cm), chest 23.2–27.6 in (58.9–70.1 cm), weight 23–48 lb (10.4–21.8 kg).
• X-Large: back 20.1–24.8 in (51.1–63 cm), chest 27.6–32.3 in (70.1–82 cm), weight 42–75 lb (19.1–34 kg).
• XX-Large: back 24.8–29.5 in (63–74.9 cm), chest 32.3–39.3 in (82–99.8 cm), weight 70+ lb (31.8+ kg).

Good to know: the size ranges overlap, so compare both measurements and weight rather than choosing by weight alone.

Can pets move and how is the suit cared for?

Yes, the elastic, breathable cotton-blend fabric is designed to let pets move freely. The suit follows a dog’s body shape and is made to be easy to put on and take off.

• It can be used as everyday home clothing as well as a recovery garment.
• It is suitable for indoor or outdoor activity and helps keep dust and dirt off the pet.
• Machine washing is suitable; the fabric is designed not to deform after washing.

FUAMEY’s recovery suit suits pet owners looking for a flexible covering for post-surgery care, postpartum use, or home wear. Its six size ranges, breathable cotton-spandex fabric, and multiple care uses make it a practical choice for pets needing body coverage while retaining freedom of movement.
