• Easy to put on and take off — the flexible suit is lighter than a collar.
• Six size options — choose by your dog’s back length, chest measurement, and weight.
• Machine washable — the fabric is designed to retain its shape after washing.

After surgery or birth, dogs may need clothing that covers the body while allowing everyday movement. This recovery suit is made for post-operative care, postpartum use, and indoor or outdoor wear, with a shape designed around a dog’s body.

What is the FUAMEY Dog Recovery Suit designed for?

It is designed for post-operative care after neutering, spay surgery, or a C-section, and for use after a female dog gives birth. The body-covering fit helps prevent licking at wounds. Postpartum, it can be used to help keep a female dog from catching cold, and as a weaning gown.

• Can be used for male and female dogs.
• Helps shield the dog from dust and dirt during indoor or outdoor activities.

How do I choose the right size?

Measure your dog’s back and chest, then compare both measurements and weight with the size ranges below.

• X-Small: back 8.3–11.4 in (21.1–29 cm); chest 12.6–15.7 in (32–39.9 cm); 4–7 lb (1.8–3.2 kg).
• Small: back 11.4–13.4 in (29–34 cm); chest 15.7–19.3 in (39.9–49 cm); 7–15 lb (3.2–6.8 kg).
• Medium: back 13.4–16.1 in (34–40.9 cm); chest 19.3–23.2 in (49–58.9 cm); 14–25 lb (6.4–11.3 kg).
• Large: back 16.1–20.1 in (40.9–51.1 cm); chest 23.2–27.6 in (58.9–70.1 cm); 23–48 lb (10.4–21.8 kg).
• X-Large: back 20.1–24.8 in (51.1–63 cm); chest 27.6–32.3 in (70.1–82 cm); 42–75 lb (19.1–34 kg).
• XX-Large: back 24.8–29.5 in (63–74.9 cm); chest 32.3–39.3 in (82–99.8 cm); 70+ lb (31.8+ kg).

Compare back length, chest, and weight together when selecting a size, as the ranges overlap.

Can a dog eat and move while wearing it?

The flexible suit is designed to let a dog move freely and eat or defecate without wearing a collar. Its body-conforming design makes it easy to put on and remove. For male dogs, it can be worn with a diaper to help manage urination.

• Made for home wear as well as indoor and outdoor activities.
• Can also be used as everyday clothing around the home.

What is the fabric, and how do I care for it?

The suit is made from 95% cotton and 5% spandex. The fabric is elastic and breathable, and machine washable; it is designed not to deform after machine washing.

• The cotton-and-spandex blend supports a flexible fit.
• Breathable fabric allows airflow while the suit is worn.

The FUAMEY Dog Recovery Suit suits dog owners looking for body coverage during post-surgical or postpartum care, or a flexible home garment that still allows movement. Its six sizes are selected using back length, chest measurement, and weight, making it a practical fit-focused option for recovery and everyday wear.
