Large and older dogs can benefit from a dedicated resting spot that combines a cushioned surface with room to settle into different sleeping positions. This Brownstone sofa bed pairs a soft, wave-textured sleep area with raised bolsters, while its foam construction is designed to provide cooling comfort and support. Its XXL dimensions make fit an important consideration: compare the bed’s measurements with the area where your dog will use it, including a crate or vehicle space.

How does the foam support a dog’s rest?

The bed combines a cool gel-top foam layer with a solid orthopedic foam base. Together, these layers are designed to cushion pressure points and support joints, while the cooling gel foam is intended to help keep the sleep surface cooler. The design also aims to improve circulation as it cushions pressure points; it provides a resting surface, not a medical treatment.

• Made for large dogs and senior dogs weighing up to 125 lb.
• High-density foam is designed not to flatten with use.
• Foam carries CertiPUR-US certification.

Will the XXL sofa bed suit my dog and space?

Its sleep surface measures 53 x 40 inches, and the bed stands 10.5 inches high. The roomy, wave-textured faux fur surface is designed for dogs that like to stretch out, while the sofa shape adds raised sides for dogs that prefer a headrest. The fluffy bolsters are made with 100% recycled material. Measure the intended spot before choosing this size, particularly when placing the bed in a crate or car.

• Brownstone color with a plush and velvet finish.
• Raised bolsters provide a place for a dog to lean or rest its head.
• Designed for use in living rooms, crates, or cars when the space accommodates its dimensions.

How do you clean and care for the cover?

The cover is removable with a zipper and is fully machine washable. Removing it lets you wash away shed fur and dander from the sleep surface. The bed also has a durable non-slip base and reinforced stitching, details designed for everyday household use. The product is designed and tested in the USA, and its materials are guaranteed free of harmful chemicals.

• Remove the cover using its zipper before washing.
• The cover is machine washable.
• Manufacturer coverage includes 90-Day Limited Coverage for material defects and a 60-Day Worry Free Guarantee.

FurHaven’s XXL Cooling Gel Dog Bed suits large and senior dogs within the stated weight limit, especially those that stretch out or lean against a raised bolster. It is also a fit for shoppers seeking a washable cover and an orthopedic foam base in a sofa-style bed. Its defined size and 125 lb weight limit make it best suited to dogs and spaces that fit those measurements.
