• Money-back guarantee — see the product label for details.

Loose undercoat can end up on household surfaces as your dog sheds. This tool is made for the weekly deShedding step in a home grooming routine for dogs with double coats, rather than routine brushing and combing alone.

What does this deShedding tool do?

It removes loose undercoat hair before it has a chance to shed onto surfaces around your home. Undercoat deShedding is a different grooming task from brushing or combing, and FURminator says this tool removes significantly more loose hair than a standard comb.

• Targets loose hair beneath the topcoat.
• Use on double-coated dogs once a week.

How does the tool reach the undercoat?

The tool is specially designed to pass through the topcoat and remove loose undercoat hair. When used as directed, it is designed not to cut the skin or damage the topcoat, while its curved edge conforms to a dog’s natural build and shape.

• Designed for undercoat deShedding, not just surface brushing.
• Push the FURejector button to release the hair collected during grooming.

How can it fit into an at-home grooming routine?

FURminator places weekly deShedding within its Ultimate Hair Reduction System for at-home grooming. The routine also describes daily brushing to detangle and smooth fur, monthly bathing to clean and deodorize, and collecting and discarding loose hair as needed.

• This tool serves the weekly deShedding step.
• FURminator’s broader grooming line includes tools, shampoos, conditioners, and sprays for different grooming steps.

This tool is suited to owners grooming large, long-haired dogs with double coats who want to remove loose undercoat hair at home. Its size-specific design, undercoat-reaching function, and weekly-use guidance make it a fit for that grooming routine.
