FURminator Small Long-Hair Cat DeShedding Tool, Under 4.5 kg with FURejector

FURminator Undercoat deShedding Tool is made to remove loose shedding hair from small, long-haired cats under 10 pounds, using a stainless steel edge to reach the undercoat.

• Stainless steel edge reaches through the topcoat — helps remove loose undercoat hair without damaging the topcoat or cutting skin when used as directed.
• Curved edge with a skin guard — follows your cat’s shape and helps prevent the edges from digging in.
• FURejector button — releases collected hair from the tool.
• Ergonomic handle — designed for comfortable, easy grooming.
• Weekly use for cats with double coats — makes undercoat deShedding part of a regular grooming routine.

Loose coat can end up on household surfaces or be swallowed while a cat grooms itself. This tool is designed to remove shedding undercoat before it is shed around the home, while helping keep the coat free of dirt and debris. Undercoat deShedding is different from ordinary brushing or combing: FURminator says the tool removes significantly more loose hair than a standard comb.

Which cats is this size made for?

This size is for long-haired cats weighing under 10 pounds. Its curved edge is shaped to follow a cat’s natural build, and the skin guard helps the tool glide over the skin without digging in at the edges.

How does the deShedding edge work?

The stainless steel edge reaches through the topcoat to remove loose hair from the undercoat. When used as directed, it is designed to remove loose undercoat without damaging the topcoat or cutting the skin.

• Undercoat deShedding removes loose hair before it can be shed onto home surfaces.
