Accidents can leave a playpen, crate or training area damp and can expose the floor or nearby furniture to liquid. FXW’s reusable pads pair an absorbent cotton layer with a waterproof barrier, so they are designed to manage moisture where your dog rests or trains. Their washable format is intended for repeated use, while the compact pad size makes it straightforward to place one in a designated area.

How much liquid can each FXW pad absorb?

Each FXW pad absorbs up to 0.2 L of liquid. A thick, heavyweight cotton layer takes in moisture, while the waterproof 100% Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU) layer helps stop leaks from passing through. Together, these layers are designed to help keep a dog’s playpen space clean and dry and to protect floors or furniture beneath the pad.

• Absorption capacity: up to 0.2 L per pad.
• Waterproof barrier: 100% TPU.
• Suitable for use as a playpen mat or wee pad.

Will these pads fit an FXW playpen or crate?

FXW makes these pads to fit its dog playpens in square, rectangular, hexagonal, octagonal and other shapes. They can also be used as crate pads or placed in dog training areas. Each pad measures 17 x 23 in (43.18 x 58.42 cm), so compare that footprint with the area where you intend to use it, particularly when choosing a pad for a crate.

• Pack quantity: four pads.
• Playpen compatibility: FXW playpens in multiple shapes.
• Other uses: crates and training areas.

Can FXW dog pee pads be washed and reused?

Yes, FXW dog pee pads are machine washable and built for over 100 uses. Reusing a pad reduces reliance on disposable alternatives; FXW says its training pad costs five times less per use than disposables. The pads use durable polyester and a soft surface for your dog to rest on, with an anti-slip backing to help hold the mat in place when a puppy moves around.

• Machine washable for repeated use.
• Designed to last over 100 uses.
• Anti-slip backing helps keep the mat in position during play.

These four FXW pads suit dog owners who want a washable absorbent surface for a playpen, crate or training spot, and who can use the stated 17 x 23 in footprint. They are particularly useful for FXW playpen setups, with a cotton absorbent layer, waterproof TPU barrier and reusable construction in each pad.
