Gardner Pet Dog Stairs for Small Dogs, 14-Inch Navy 3-Step Foam with Washable Waterproof Cover

Gardner Pet Dog Stairs are three-step pet steps designed to help small dogs reach beds and couches, with a 14-inch (35.56 cm) height and soft 35D foam.

• Widened and lengthened steps — create a broader climbing surface designed to reduce tipping.
• Low-angle 35D foam steps — provide support while helping reduce stress on joints.
• Removable cover with a TPU waterproof layer — helps protect against leaks and can be washed.
• Rubber dots on the base — add grip against the floor as pets climb.
• Foldable design — converts the stairs into a basic bed for resting.

Getting onto a bed or couch can be difficult for small pets, puppies, and older animals. These stairs provide a stepped route to elevated resting places and are designed for small and medium dogs, including senior pets and dogs with knee injuries. The same steps can also help older cats reach familiar spots.

What furniture height are these dog stairs for?

The three-step version is intended for couch access points in the 14–18 in (35.56–45.72 cm) range. This navy option measures 14 inches high; compare that height with the furniture your pet needs to reach. The Gardner Pet range also includes different step counts for higher access points.

• Four-step version: for heights of 18–23 in (45.72–58.42 cm).
• Five-step version: for heights of 22–27 in (55.88–68.58 cm).

How do the steps help pets climb?

The low-angle stepped profile gives pets a gradual route up, while the 35D high-density foam provides support and is designed to reduce joint stress. The steps are widened and lengthened to improve stability and reduce the risk of tipping. Rubber dots underneath help keep the stairs from slipping across the floor during use.

• Designed for puppies, senior dogs, small and medium dogs, and older cats.
• May suit pets needing extra care, including dogs with knee injuries.

How do you clean and store the stairs?

No assembly is required: unpack the stairs and they are ready to use. The cover removes for machine washing or hand washing, and its TPU waterproof layer helps prevent leaks. Do not clean the foam interior. When the steps are not being used for climbing, fold them into a basic bed for your pet.

• After unpacking, slight wrinkles from vacuum compression can take 24–48 hours to recover.
• The washable cover and foam interior have different care requirements.

These navy stairs suit households looking for a compact climbing aid for a small or medium dog, a puppy, a senior pet, or an older cat. They are intended to help pets reach beds and couches, with a 14-inch height, a grippy base, and a foldable design that also forms a basic resting bed.
