Gentle Creatures Dog Sunscreen SPF 30 for Dogs & Cats, No Zinc Oxide

Gentle Creatures pet sunscreen is made for dogs and cats to help protect against the sun’s UV rays, with SPF 30 and no zinc oxide.

• Made in a Pennsylvania facility in the USA — gives you a clear origin for this pet sunscreen.
• Includes octinoxate, olive oils, vitamin E and lecithin — combines sunscreen ingredients with moisturizing and conditioning components.
• Moisturizers and conditioners help care for your pet’s coat while it is protected from the sun.
• Non-aerosol spray — apply it with your hand or directly to your pet’s coat.
• Apply 20 minutes before sun exposure and reapply regularly during outings over an hour — supports use during longer time outdoors.
• Light-colored fur is more vulnerable to sunburn — pay attention to exposed areas such as the nose, ears and skin.

Dogs and cats can get sunburned, and pets with light-colored fur are especially vulnerable. Gentle Creatures is intended for outdoor time when sensitive areas need sun protection, including beach outings and other time in the sun. Sunscreen is one part of sun care: avoid prolonged exposure, and keep an eye on how long your pet is outside.

What kind of sun protection does Gentle Creatures provide?

Gentle Creatures is an SPF 30 sunscreen formulated to help protect dogs and cats from UV rays. Its formula uses chemical and natural sunscreens and contains no zinc oxide. Apply it to the areas that need protection, such as the nose, ears and exposed skin; it is also suitable for application directly to the coat.

• Made specifically for use on dogs and cats.
• Designed for sun-exposed areas, especially on light-furred pets.

How should I apply the sunscreen to my pet?

Massage Gentle Creatures onto sensitive areas 20 minutes before your pet goes into the sun. The non-aerosol spray can be applied by hand or directly to the coat. For an outing that lasts more than an hour, reapply regularly; the product does not replace limiting lengthy sun exposure.

• Use on your pet’s skin and coat, not as something to be eaten.
• Give particular attention to the nose and ears as well as exposed skin.

What is in the formula, and where is it made?

Gentle Creatures combines sunscreen ingredients with coat-conditioning and moisturizing ingredients. The formula includes octinoxate, olive oils, moisturizing vitamin E and conditioning lecithin, while its moisturizers and conditioners are intended to help keep the coat looking beautiful. It is made in the USA at the brand’s facility in Pennsylvania.

• Contains no zinc oxide.
• Non-aerosol spray format allows hand application or direct application to the coat.

Gentle Creatures suits dog and cat owners planning time outdoors who want an SPF 30 sunscreen for sun-exposed areas, with moisturizing and conditioning ingredients in the formula. It is for topical use on your pet, not for ingestion, and fits best as part of outdoor care that also avoids prolonged sun exposure.
