Dogs cannot tell you in words when they need to go outside. These doorbells give them a simple signal to learn: touch or ring the bells at the door. They are made for potty-training routines that use patience and treats to teach the behavior, rather than relying on a dog to scratch or bark at the door.

How do GINIDEAR Dog Bells support potty training?

GINIDEAR Dog Bells teach a dog to ring at the door when it needs to go outside through a three-step training sequence. Start by rewarding the dog for touching a bell with its nose or paw, then reward ringing at the door, and finally reinforce ringing only when the dog needs to pee. The process uses treats and patience to connect the bell sound with the dog’s outdoor needs.

• First, reward a nose or paw touch.
• Next, encourage ringing at the door and reward it.
• Then, teach the dog to ring when it needs to pee.

Can the bell length suit different dogs and doors?

Yes. GINIDEAR Dog Bells have a snap button that adjusts the length for the dog and door, and they are designed for dogs from small to large. The 35-inch (90 cm) length is longer than most dog doorbells, giving you room to set the bell where your dog can reach it.

• Adjust the length to match the dog’s reach and the door.
• Use nose or paw contact as the first training step.

What are the bells made of, and how loud are they?

GINIDEAR Dog Bells combine handcrafted twisted rope with metal bells. Each bell measures 3.5 cm and makes a clear sound intended to carry through the house without being excessively loud. Multiple color options are available.

• Handmade twisted-rope design.
• Metal bells for an audible signal when rung.

GINIDEAR Dog Bells are suited to owners teaching a dog of any size to signal at the door as part of a potty-training routine. The one-year warranty excludes chewing. For this training purpose, they provide an adjustable doorbell and a clear sound for a dog to use when it needs to go outside.
