Glad Activated Carbon Dog Pee Pads, 100 Count, 6-Layer Leak Protection

Glad for Pets Activated Carbon Dog Pee Pads are disposable indoor training pads for puppies and dogs, with six layers of leak-proof protection and capacity for up to 4 cups (946 mL) of liquid per pad.

• Activated carbon technology — helps neutralize urine and waste odors while masking stains.
• Odor-resistant formulation — helps control odor on and within the pad between changes.
• Built-in, odorless pheromone attractant — encourages dogs to return to the same potty spot.
• Unfolded size: 23 x 23 inches (58.42 x 58.42 cm) — gives you a defined area to compare with your dog’s potty space.
• Folded size: 20.5 x 23 inches (52.07 x 58.42 cm) — provides a smaller usable surface with folded edges for leak containment.
• 100 disposable pads per pack — provides a supply for regular indoor potty access.

These pads are made for indoor potty routines where a dog needs a designated place to go. Their intended uses include puppy training, senior dog incontinence, post-surgery recovery, crate lining, carrier protection, and multi-dog households. The pad’s unfolded and folded dimensions help you compare its usable area with your dog and the space where you plan to place it.

How do the pads help manage leaks and odor?

Each pad combines six absorption layers, a leak-proof PE base liner, and reinforced folded edges to help contain liquid and keep floors, crates, and carriers dry. Activated carbon technology helps neutralize urine and waste odors, while the odor-resistant formulation helps control odor on and within the pad. The black charcoal construction also masks stains, offering odor management beyond the appearance of a standard white pad.

An ultra-absorbent polymer layer locks urine into gel within 15 seconds, helping reduce tracking and pooling across the pad and nearby flooring. The layered construction and base liner are designed to address leakage, while the folded edges add containment around the usable surface.

• Six absorption layers work together with the PE base liner.
• Urine is locked into gel by the polymer layer within 15 seconds.

What size are the pads, and how much liquid can they hold?

Each pad measures 23 x 23 inches (58.42 x 58.42 cm) when unfolded and holds up to 4 cups (946 mL) of liquid. With the edges folded, the pad measures 20.5 x 23 inches (52.07 x 58.42 cm), reducing the usable surface area while adding leak containment. Compare the unfolded or folded size with your dog and the area available in a crate, carrier, or designated potty spot before choosing where to use it.

The stated capacity gives you a specific reference point for the amount each pad can absorb. Folded edges are intended to help contain leaks, while the unfolded measurement shows the full pad footprint. This makes the same pad usable in a selected indoor potty area or as a liner for a crate or carrier, provided the space accommodates its dimensions.

• Use the unfolded measurements to assess the full pad footprint.
• Use the folded measurements to assess the smaller usable surface with edges folded.

How should I use the pads, and which dogs are they for?

Place a pad flat in the designated potty area or crate, folding the edges for leak containment. The built-in, odorless pheromone attractant encourages puppies and dogs to return to the same location, supporting a consistent indoor training routine. Replace and discard the pad once it is soiled.

The 100-count pack is intended for repeated use in households that need indoor potty access. Puppy owners can use the pads as part of a designated training spot; they are also intended for senior dogs experiencing incontinence and dogs recovering after surgery. For multi-dog homes, the pads can serve as a consistent indoor potty option, as well as a crate or carrier liner.

• Place the pad flat in the chosen potty area or crate.
• Fold the edges when you want added leak containment.
• Discard and replace each pad after it becomes soiled.

Glad for Pets Activated Carbon Dog Pee Pads suit households looking for a disposable indoor potty surface for puppy training, senior dog incontinence, post-surgery recovery, or multi-dog use. They are also intended for lining crates and protecting carriers; their 23 x 23-inch unfolded footprint and folded-edge option define the space they cover.
