• 4CR titanium-coated stainless steel — provides sharp, heavy-duty shears designed to cut without pulling hair.
• Comfort-focused handles with rubber bumpers — support extended use and help prevent finger clamping.
• A comb, cleaning cloth and black leather case are included — keep the grooming tools and accessories together.

Trimming a pet at home calls for tools that can handle different areas while allowing careful work around the face and paws. This kit brings together multiple shear shapes, a comb and storage accessories for pet owners who want a hand-operated grooming set. Its user-friendly design is intended to help beginners work toward professional grooming results, while the handle features support a more comfortable grip during longer sessions.

What tools are included, and how long are the shears?

The kit contains four shears: a 6.5-inch (16.5 cm) thinning shear, a 6.5-inch (16.5 cm) curved scissor, a 6.5-inch (16.5 cm) straight scissor and a 5.3-inch (13.5 cm) straight scissor. The different styles give you options for trimming and shaping, while the shorter straight scissor offers a different length within the set.

• One pet comb for grooming
• One cleaning cloth
• One black leather case

Are the scissors designed for trimming around a pet’s face and paws?

Yes. Each grooming scissor has a rounded end, making the set suitable for careful trimming around sensitive areas such as the face, ears, eyes, nose and paws. The tips are made from 4CR titanium-coated stainless steel, and the shears are designed to cut hair without pulling it. Use the shear style that suits the area and trimming task.

• Rounded ends are featured on all the grooming scissors.
• The kit includes thinning, curved and straight shear styles.

Are the handles designed for comfortable grooming?

The handle design is intended to fit comfortably in the hand and help minimize fatigue during longer grooming sessions. A rubber bumper at the handle helps prevent accidental finger clamping and reduces the noise made when the scissors close. Unlike electric clippers, these are hand-operated scissors, so they do not produce clipper motor noise.

• The rubber handle bumper also helps prevent a loud closing sound that could frighten a pet.
• The kit is designed with ease of use in mind, including for beginners.

GLADOG’s grooming scissors kit suits pet owners who want several hand-operated shear styles for trimming dogs, cats or other pets, including careful work around sensitive areas. Beginners can use the varied tools and included comb as part of their grooming routine. It is a four-shear kit with rounded tips, a comb, a cleaning cloth and a storage case.
