Gold Paw Dog Sun Shirt, Ocean Blue, Size 22 – UPF 50+ Lightweight Stretch Fit

Goldpaw’s Dog Sun Shirt is a lightweight layer for sun protection, cooling, and skin coverage, with UPF 50+ protection in Ocean Blue, Size 22.

• UPF 50+ blocks 98% of harmful UV rays — adds wearable shade outdoors.
• UV protection is part of the yarn — it stays effective wash after wash.
• Lightweight, breathable fabric — helps reduce heat absorption, with an evaporative cooling boost when wet.
• Close-fitting pullover design — creates a barrier for torso recovery, hotspots, wounds, and topical medications.
• Four-way stretch and an outside chest seam — support a snug fit with less chafing and riding up.
• Made in the USA from stretch jersey — offers a featherlight layer for indoor or outdoor wear.

For dogs that need sun coverage, a comfortable layer over sensitive skin, or a barrier during torso recovery, the Sun Shield Tee brings these uses together in one pullover. It is designed for sunny walks, hikes, beach days, warm weather, and indoor wear. The close fit also makes it a comfortable cone alternative for some recovery needs.

How does the shirt provide sun protection?

The Sun Shield Tee’s UV protection is built into the yarn, rather than applied as a surface coating, so the protection remains effective through washing. Its fabric provides wearable shade for dogs spending time outdoors, while the lightweight, breathable construction is intended to help reduce heat absorption. In Goldpaw’s infrared test, fur under the Tee measured over 40 degrees cooler in the sun.

• Wet the shirt for an evaporative cooling boost.
• Designed for indoor and outdoor comfort.

Can it cover skin during recovery or hotspot care?

Yes, the pullover is designed as a soft barrier for torso healing, hotspots, skin issues, wounds, and topical medications. Its close-fitting shape helps keep coverage in place without riding up or crawling. The design offers a comfortable cone alternative when coverage over the torso is needed.

• Silky-soft fabric has four-way stretch.
• The center chest seam sits on the outside to reduce chafing in tender areas.

How does the fit work with a harness?

The shirt is designed to fit snugly, and its stretch jersey layers smoothly under a harness without requiring harness adjustments. Size 22 is the size of this Ocean Blue shirt; the close-fitting, stretchy design is the stated fit approach.

• Pullover construction.
• Made in the USA.

The Goldpaw Dog Sun Shirt suits dogs that need a lightweight sun layer, gentle torso coverage, or a breathable shirt for warm-weather outings. It is particularly useful when a close-fitting layer that can sit beneath a harness is part of the dog’s routine. Its UPF yarn, stretch jersey construction, and coverage-focused design bring those uses together.
