For small dogs, a harness should provide a leash connection without relying on pressure around the neck. The Comfort X is made for everyday use and has a head-in design, an X-shaped chest strap, and a D-ring on the back. This listing is the orange Large size.

How should I choose the right Comfort X size?

Measure around the largest part of your dog’s chest and use that measurement as the main sizing guide. Weight is an estimate: Small fits 5–9 lb (2.3–4.1 kg), Medium 9–15 lb (4.1–6.8 kg), Large 15–20 lb (6.8–9.1 kg), and X-Large 20–30 lb (9.1–13.6 kg). The largest size is intended for dogs up to 30 lb. If your dog falls between sizes, choose the larger size.

• This product page is for the Large size, estimated for dogs weighing 15–20 lb.
• Chest fit takes priority over the weight estimate.

How does the X-frame help reduce neck pressure?

The patented chest strap forms an X and sits below the usual neck area, reducing stress pressed on the neck. A back-mounted D-ring lowers the leash’s pull trajectory, reducing the chance of the harness being pulled up toward the neck. The design is covered by US D823,556 S and US D850,021 S.

• Head-in harness design.
• Metal D-ring provides the leash attachment point.

What is the harness made of, and how do I clean it?

The harness uses 100% polyester soft mesh. The lightweight mesh is intended to help keep the dog’s body temperature cool, and the harness can be machine washed in cold water and air dried.

• Color: orange.
• Care: machine wash cold; air dry.

The Gooby Comfort X Large is suited to small-dog owners looking for a head-in harness for everyday use, with sizing selected by chest fit and weight used as a guide. Its X-shaped chest strap, lower back leash point, and washable polyester mesh define its practical fit and care features.
