For dogs that are sensitive to collar pressure or try to back out when a walk gets exciting, a harness can provide a different way to manage the walking fit. Gooby’s Comfort X Step-in Lite is designed for everyday walks and uses a step-in format with features aimed at comfort and security. The product is described for small and medium-sized dogs; this version is X-Large, so compare the size designation with your dog’s fit needs.

How does the harness help keep pressure off my dog’s throat?

The patented X-Frame and Deep V-Neck are designed to prevent choking by keeping pressure away from the throat. This makes the harness especially suited to small dogs that are sensitive to collars. Its breathable mesh construction also helps keep the harness lightweight for walks.

• Step-in harness format.
• Designed with collar-sensitive small dogs in mind.

Can a dog back out of the harness when pulling?

The harness contracts around the chest when a dog pulls, helping keep the dog secure if they try to retreat out of the fit. Metal D-rings provide an additional security feature for active use.

• Made for walks with dogs that may plant their feet and pull backward.
• Suitable for everyday use with small and medium-sized dogs.

How do I put it on, and what is it made from?

The step-in design and quick-release buckle make putting on and removing the harness straightforward. It is made from lightweight, breathable mesh that dries quickly, making it practical for regular walks in varied weather.

• Fastens with a quick-release buckle.
• Mesh construction is designed to dry quickly after getting wet.

This harness suits dog owners looking for a lightweight walking harness with a throat-conscious design and added security when a dog pulls or tries to back out. It is presented for small and medium-sized dogs, and this product version is black in X-Large. Its step-in construction, breathable mesh, and chest-contracting fit bring those features together for everyday walks.
