A step-in harness can be a useful option for dogs that are sensitive to pressure from collars or that try to back out of a harness. Gooby’s Comfort X combines a throat-conscious shape with a chest-focused fit, giving you a harness designed for walks and active everyday use. This listing is the purple X-Large size.

How does the Comfort X help keep pressure off my dog’s throat?

The patented X-Frame and deep V-neck are designed to help prevent choking by keeping the harness away from the throat. This shape is especially relevant for dogs sensitive to collars, as leash pressure is intended to be distributed around the chest rather than concentrated at the neck.

• Step-in style for putting the harness on.
• Designed to keep the throat pressure-free.

How does the harness help prevent a dog from backing out?

The harness contracts around your dog’s chest when they pull, helping keep them secure. That chest-tightening action is also intended to help prevent escapes when a dog plants their feet and tries to back out, making the design useful for dogs that resist moving on a walk.

• Chest-focused security as your dog pulls.
• Designed to help keep a dog secure during active use.

What materials and fastenings does this step-in harness use?

The Comfort X uses lightweight, breathable mesh that dries quickly after getting wet. A quick-release buckle helps simplify putting it on and taking it off, while metal D-rings provide the leash attachment points.

• Breathable mesh construction.
• Quick-release buckle and metal D-rings.
