Gooby Fashion Vest Check Dog Jacket is a warm, water-resistant layer for cold and rainy weather, with a stretchable fit and two back D-rings for leash attachment.

• Water-resistant outer layer with a soft, warm inner layer — adds coverage for cold and rainy outings.
• Stretchable fabric and a knitted bottom — allows room to fit different body shapes.

• Two D-rings on the back — provide a leash attachment for short walks without a separate harness.
• Machine washable — makes routine cleaning straightforward.

This green check bomber-style vest is made for small dogs that need added coverage in chilly or wet weather. Its quilted check pattern gives the jacket its distinct look, while the step-in style suits dogs that are sensitive to pullover clothing or excited when getting ready to go out.

What size dog is the Gooby Fashion Vest made for?

The Gooby Fashion Vest is designed for small dogs up to 35 lb (15.9 kg), with fit depending on the dog's body shape. Choose the size using the circumference around the widest part of the chest, as chest fit is the recommended sizing reference. If your dog falls between sizes, size up. The expandable fabric and roomy knit section at the bottom accommodate varied builds, including broad-chested dogs such as French Bulldogs and Boston Terriers.

• Measure around the largest part of your dog's chest before choosing a size.
• The stated weight limit is up to 35 lb; body shape also affects fit.

How does the jacket go on, and what is the zipper guard for?

The Gooby Fashion Vest uses a step-in design: place your dog's legs through the vest and close the zipper along the top. A guard along the back of the zipper helps prevent hair from catching in the closure. The large, stretchy bottom opening is designed to leave room for bathroom breaks without removing the vest.

• The top closure is positioned for easier dressing and removal.
• The cut-away bottom helps keep the vest clear when your dog urinates.

Can the Gooby Fashion Vest be used as a walking harness?

The Gooby Fashion Vest has two D-rings attached to the back for leash connection, so a separate harness is not needed for short walks. This leash attachment is intended for limited use; avoid relying on it for dogs that pull or for long walks.

• Two back D-rings serve as the leash attachment points.
• Use the vest's leash connection for short walks rather than extended walks or dogs that pull.

How should I care for the Gooby Fashion Vest?

The Gooby Fashion Vest is machine washable. Its water-resistant outer layer and soft, warm inner layer make it a practical clothing option for cold and rainy conditions.

• Machine wash the vest for routine care.
• The outer layer is water resistant, not described as waterproof.

This jacket suits small dogs that need extra coverage in cold or rainy weather, especially those who prefer step-in clothing or have broad chests. Its stretchable construction, roomy bottom opening and back D-rings make it a functional checkered vest for everyday short outings.
