• Zip-up closure — makes the sweater easier to put on and remove.
• Armholes and a bottom opening — allow room for walking and bathroom breaks.
• Machine washable and dryer-safe — makes routine cleaning straightforward.
• No leash-attachment D-ring on size 2X-Large — the back is made without a leash attachment for safety.

Cold days can make short outdoor trips and time at home uncomfortable for small dogs. This fleece vest is made for cold-weather wear, with a zip closure for quick dressing and openings designed to leave room for movement. Its size is intended for small dogs; the 2X-Large label does not mean it is sized for a large-breed dog.

How does the Gooby fleece sweater help in cold weather?

The Gooby fleece sweater uses 100% polyester fabric to help retain warm air while keeping moisture from freezing rain or snow out. It is intended as a winter layer for small dogs, including for cold-weather outings and home wear. The zip-up design lets you dress and undress your dog without pulling the sweater over its head.

• Fleece vest construction for cold-weather use.
• Zip closure for putting on and taking off.

How should I check whether size 2X-Large will fit?

Measure your dog’s chest before choosing a size, and make sure the neck opening is larger than your dog’s head. Gooby’s sizing is for small dogs, so the 2X-Large size is not a guide to large-breed fit. The product description provides no chest measurement for this size, so use your dog’s measurements when assessing fit.

• Measure the chest with a tape measure.
• Compare the neck opening with your dog’s head size.

Can my dog wear it for walks, and how do I clean it?

Size 2X-Large does not have a D-ring on the back, so this sweater has no built-in leash attachment. The armholes and bottom opening leave space for walking and bathroom breaks. For care, the sweater can be machine washed and put in the dryer.

• No rear leash-attachment D-ring on this size.
• Machine washable and suitable for the dryer.

This Gooby fleece vest suits small-dog owners looking for a zip-front layer for cold weather, with openings for movement and bathroom breaks. It is sized for small dogs rather than large breeds, and size 2X-Large has no leash-attachment D-ring.
