Cold, wet winter weather can make quick outdoor trips uncomfortable for dogs. This fleece vest is made for added warmth on winter outings, with a simple pullover fit for times when getting dressed quickly matters. Its Deep Blue color is one of more than 17 colors offered in the Gooby fleece vest range.

How does the Gooby Fleece Vest help keep a dog warm?

The 100% polyester fleece is designed to help keep warm air in and moisture out when the weather brings freezing rain or snow. It offers a warm layer for cold-weather walks and bathroom breaks, with armholes shaped to allow a dog to walk and go to the bathroom comfortably.

• Soft fleece fabric provides the vest’s insulating layer.
• Armholes are made to allow comfortable movement and bathroom breaks.

How does this dog vest go on, and can it attach to a leash?

The vest slips over a dog’s head as a pullover, with no zipper or Velcro closure to fasten. An O-ring on the back can be used to attach a leash for short winter walks, but this attachment is not recommended for dogs that pull.

• Pull-on and pull-off construction is useful when getting outside quickly.
• The back O-ring is intended for short walks, not for dogs that pull.

How do you choose a size and clean the fleece vest?

Measure your dog’s chest and use that measurement to choose among the five sizes; this listing is X-Large. For a more suitable opening, choose a neck opening larger than your dog’s head. The vest is machine washable and can also go in the dryer.

• Check chest size when selecting a fit.
• Compare the neck opening with your dog’s head size.
• Machine washing and drying are suitable for routine cleanup after winter outings.

The Gooby Fleece Vest Dog Sweater suits owners looking for a warm pullover layer for a small-to-medium dog during cold-weather outings, especially when quick changes and easy washing are useful. For a dog that fits the X-Large size, it combines polyester fleece, movement-friendly armholes and a leash attachment intended for short walks rather than pulling.
