Gooby Zip-Up Fleece Dog Sweater, Lime 3X-Large for Cold-Weather Comfort

The Gooby Zip-Up Fleece Dog Sweater is a lime, 100% polyester fleece layer designed to help small dogs stay warm in cold weather, with a step-in zip closure for easy dressing.

• 100% polyester fleece — helps keep moisture from freezing rain or snow out and warm air in.
• Step-in design with a zip closure — makes the sweater easier to put on and take off.
• Armholes and a bottom opening — allow room for walking and bathroom breaks.
• Machine washable and dryer friendly — makes routine cleanup straightforward.
• 3X-Large size has no rear leash-attachment D-rings — a safety feature for this size.
• Made for small dogs — measure chest and ensure the neck opening is larger than your dog’s head.

Cold-weather walks and quick trips outside can leave small dogs exposed to chilly air, wet snow, and sidewalk slush. This fleece vest is made to add a warm layer for those outings and for winter wear at home. Its zip-up format is especially useful when you want to dress your dog without pulling a garment over its head.

How does the fleece help in cold weather?

The polyester fleece is designed to help keep moisture from freezing rain or snow out while holding warm air in. That makes the vest suited to cold-weather wear, including winter walks when a dog’s clothing may encounter wet conditions. It is a fleece layer, not a stated waterproof garment.

• Lime color.
• Fleece vest style for small dogs.

How do you put the Gooby sweater on?

The vest is designed to step in and zip closed, making it easier to get on and off than a pullover style. The armholes leave room for your dog to move, while the bottom opening accommodates bathroom breaks. This design supports a quicker change into or out of the layer when heading outdoors.

• Zip-up closure rather than a pullover opening.
• Bottom opening for bathroom access.

How should you choose the size, and does 3X-Large have leash rings?

Gooby makes this fleece for small dogs, so a larger size number does not mean it is intended for a large breed. Measure your dog’s chest and choose a neck opening wider than your dog’s head for fit. The 2X-Large and 3X-Large sizes do not have leash-attachment D-rings on the back for safety reasons.

• The range includes five easy-fit sizes.
• Use your dog’s measurements rather than breed size alone.

For care, the vest can be machine washed and put in the dryer, which helps clear away dirt from winter wear. The lime 3X-Large suits a small dog whose measurements fit the garment and whose owner wants a fleece layer for cold-weather use. It is a small-dog sweater, with no rear leash D-rings in the 3X-Large size.
