Gooby Zip-Up Fleece Dog Sweater, Red 2X-Large for Small Dogs

Gooby’s red 2X-Large Zip-Up Fleece Dog Sweater is a 100% polyester winter layer designed to help small dogs stay warm in cold weather.

• Fleece made from 100% polyester — helps keep moisture out and warm air in.
• Step-in design with a zip closure — makes the sweater easier to put on and take off.
• Roomy armholes and a bottom opening — allow comfortable movement and bathroom breaks.
• No back leash D-ring on 2X-Large — this size omits the attachment for safety reasons.
• Made for small dogs — 2X-Large does not mean the sweater is sized for large breeds.

Cold-weather outings and chilly days at home can leave small dogs needing an extra layer. This fleece vest is made for those situations, with a zip-up design intended to make dressing quicker and a cut that leaves room for everyday movement. Choose by your dog’s measurements rather than relying on the size name alone.

How does the Gooby fleece sweater help in cold weather?

The 100% polyester fleece is designed to help keep moisture out, including freezing rain or snow, while helping warm air stay in. That makes this layer suited to cold-weather wear for small dogs. The red 2X-Large option is a fleece vest, not a full-body outfit.

• Intended for cold-weather home wear and outdoor use.
• Fleece construction provides coverage while leaving the legs free.

How do you put it on your dog?

The Gooby sweater is designed for your dog to step in before you zip it closed. The front zip makes it easier to put on and remove than a pullover style, while the armholes and lower opening leave room for walking and bathroom breaks.

• Step in, zip up, and remove by unzipping.
• Use the opening beneath the body for bathroom access.

How should you choose the right size?

Measure your dog’s chest and compare it with the fit of the sweater; also choose a neck opening larger than your dog’s head. Gooby makes this fleece for small dogs, so the 2X-Large label does not indicate a large-breed fit. The 2X-Large size has no back D-ring, so it cannot be attached to a leash at that point.

• Measure the chest with a tape measure before choosing.
• Allow enough room at the neck opening for your dog’s head.

How do you clean the fleece vest?

The Gooby Zip-Up Fleece Dog Sweater is machine washable, and the care guidance allows machine drying. This makes routine cleaning straightforward after exposure to snow, salt, or sidewalk slush.

• Machine wash to remove dirt and outdoor residue.
• Machine drying is also suitable.

This red 2X-Large vest suits owners looking for a zip-on winter layer for a small dog, especially when an easy on-and-off design and bathroom access matter. It is intended for small-dog sizing, and this size does not include a leash attachment. Its polyester fleece, step-in zip, and open lower design make it a practical fit for cold-weather wear.
