The GORILLA GRIP Cat Litter Mat is a light gray, 20 x 30 inch (50.8 x 76.2 cm) litter-trapping mat designed to catch tracked litter with thick mesh coils and deep grooves.

  • Thick mesh coils and deep grooves collect loose litter to help keep it contained on the mat.
  • Textured backing helps the mat stay in place, including with active cats.
  • Water-resistant construction is designed to keep liquids from passing through and helps protect floors from scratching.
  • Collected litter can be poured back into the litter box; shake or vacuum out excess.
  • Soft on sensitive paws, and Climate Partner certified with a measured carbon footprint to support initiatives addressing climate impact.

Litter tracked out of a box can scatter across the floor, while liquid messes and scratching can affect the area around it. This mat is made to catch loose litter at the box exit and create a soft surface for cats to step on or rest on. Its light gray color and rectangular shape suit a dedicated spot beside a litter box.

How does the GORILLA GRIP Cat Litter Mat trap litter?

Thick mesh coils on top catch litter from your cat’s paws, while deep grooves collect it on the mat. The original litter-trapper design helps contain the captured pieces instead of letting them spread across the floor. When litter has collected, tip and pour it back into the box to reuse it.

  • Coiled mesh surface catches loose litter.
  • Deep top grooves hold litter on the mat.
  • Reusable litter can be poured back into the box.

Will the GORILLA GRIP Cat Litter Mat stay put and protect the floor?

The textured backing is designed to help the mat stay in place as cats leave the litter box, including active cats. Its water-resistant material is designed not to let liquids pass through, helping keep liquid messes off the floor. The mat also helps protect floors from scratching.

  • Textured underside helps limit shifting.
  • Water-resistant construction helps shield the floor from liquid messes.
  • Floor protection includes help against scratching.

How do you clean and care for the GORILLA GRIP Cat Litter Mat?

Shake or vacuum the mat to remove excess litter, or use mild soap and water for a deeper clean. Always air dry it after washing. Its soft surface is gentle on sensitive paws and can also serve as a spot for an afternoon cat nap.

  • Shake or vacuum out excess litter.
  • Wash with mild soap and water for a deep clean.
  • Air dry after washing.

The GORILLA GRIP Cat Litter Mat suits cat owners who want to collect tracked litter beside the box while giving their cats a soft place to step or rest. Its 20 x 30 inch footprint, litter-catching top and textured backing make it a floor mat designed for the area around a litter box.
