GORILLA GRIP Cat Litter Mat, 24 x 15 in Black, Dual-Layer Waterproof Silicone Tray

The GORILLA GRIP Cat Litter Mat is a dual-layer silicone tray made to catch litter as cats leave the litter box, with a 100% silicone floor-gripping backing and a 24 x 15 inch (61 x 38 cm) footprint.

• Removable top layer with rectangular cells — helps collect litter from paws and contain it between layers.
• Third-party tested as 100% waterproof and holds 7 cups (about 1.7 L) of liquid — helps protect floors from spills and drips.
• Third-party tested for stain resistance — supports easier upkeep with everyday use.
• Folds to pour captured litter back into the litter box — makes it easier to reuse litter that falls onto the mat.
• BPA-free, soft, smooth silicone — provides a paw-friendly surface.
• Wipe-clean surface, mild-soap deep cleaning, and an integrated hanging hole — offers straightforward cleaning and air drying.

Litter can cling to a cat’s paws and scatter around the box as the cat steps out. This mat is designed to help keep that mess in one contained area, while its waterproof construction helps protect the floor from accidental liquid spills and litter dust. Place it where your cat exits the litter box so the rectangular cells in the removable top layer can catch litter before it spreads across the surrounding floor. Its black finish and 24 x 15 inch size make it a defined surface for litter control around the box.

How does the dual-layer design help contain litter?

The removable upper layer uses rectangular cells to collect litter from your cat’s paws, with the captured litter held between the two layers. This design helps reduce tracking beyond the mat and provides a built-in catcher surface. When excess litter gathers inside, the flexible mat can be folded to guide it back into the litter box for reuse.

• The upper layer lifts off for access to litter captured between layers.
• Folding the mat helps direct loose litter back into the box.
• Using the mat this way can help limit litter waste over time.

Does the mat help protect the floor around a litter box?

Yes. The GORILLA GRIP Cat Litter Mat is third-party tested to be 100% waterproof and has a liquid capacity of 7 cups (about 1.7 L), helping guard the floor against accidental drips and spills. Its waterproof barrier also helps protect the area from litter dust. The 100% silicone backing grips the floor to help keep the mat from shifting as your cat exits the box, while also helping improve traction for indoor use.

• Made for use on the floor beside a cat litter box.
• The silicone material is designed to hold up to everyday use.

How do you clean and dry the litter mat?

Shake out loose litter for a quick clean, or wipe the mat clean. For a deeper wash, use mild soap and water, then let it air dry using the integrated hanging hole. The mat is third-party tested for stain resistance, and its easy-clean surface helps minimize odors. These care options suit regular litter-area cleanup as well as a more thorough wash when needed.

• Use mild soap and water for deep cleaning.
• Hang the mat to air dry after washing.
• The removable top layer gives access to litter caught between the layers.

This mat is suited to cat owners who want to contain tracked litter, protect the floor around a litter box, and recover loose litter for reuse. Its footprint is 24 x 15 inches, so compare that size with the available floor area beside the box when choosing where to place it. The GORILLA GRIP Cat Litter Mat combines a grippy silicone base, a removable litter-catching layer, and waterproof floor protection in one tray designed for the litter-box exit area.
