Wet-weather entrances can bring in muddy paw prints, dampness, snow and dirt on both shoes and pet feet. SOAKSTOPPER is designed to catch that everyday debris where it enters the home, while its soft pile also makes it suitable for lining pet crates and carriers. The mat is the original GORILLA GRIP SOAKSTOPPER design.

What mess does the SOAKSTOPPER mat help catch?

The mat is made to trap dirt and moisture brought in by muddy dog paws, boots and snow. Its extra-absorbent top and dense chenille pile take in excess moisture, helping keep floors cleaner around the entrance. This gives wet paws and footwear a place to land before they track debris farther inside.

• Suitable for everyday household entry areas.
• Made for messes from both pets and footwear.

What is the mat made from, and how does it stay put?

The top is absorbent polyester fabric with a dense, plush chenille pile, and the underside is TPR rubber. The grippy backing is designed for heavy foot traffic and everyday wear, including use around muddy paws. The pile feels soft underfoot and dries quickly.

• OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certification covers testing for harmful substances.
• Durability has been tested by a third party.

Where can I use it, and how do I clean it?

Use this 24 x 17 in (61 x 43.2 cm) mat in a mudroom, entryway or garage, or as a liner for a pet crate or carrier. It is machine washable and fade-resistant, making routine cleaning straightforward. Its size is intended to fit a variety of spaces; compare the stated dimensions with the area where you plan to place it.

• Soft, plush surface provides a cozy feel underfoot.
• Designed for use in several indoor spaces, not only beside a front door.

GORILLA GRIP SOAKSTOPPER suits pet owners who want a dedicated indoor landing spot for damp, muddy paws, as well as households managing dirt and snow from boots. Its absorbent chenille surface, grippy TPR underside and machine-washable construction make it a practical fit for busy entrances and pet crate or carrier lining. For the intended fit, choose a space that accommodates its 24 x 17 in dimensions.
