GXSDJ Bearded Dragon Basking Platform is a reptile habitat feature for basking, climbing and shelter, with a heat-absorbing slate top and an integrated cave below.

• Measures 7.7 × 4.7 × 2 inches (19.6 × 11.9 × 5.1 cm) — a defined footprint for comparing with your reptile habitat.
• Weighs 0.68 pounds (0.31 kg) and is designed to stay stable — gives reptiles a platform intended not to move easily.
• Made from natural slate and eco-friendly resin — combines slate for the upper surface with a molded rock-style structure.
• Suitable for bearded dragons, geckos, ball pythons, turtles, lizards and snakes, as well as amphibians — serves a range of reptile habitats.
• The top absorbs warmth from sunlight and heat lamps, then slowly releases it — provides a gradual temperature change after daytime heating.

Reptiles use their habitat for more than resting: they may need a place to bask, climb and retreat from view. This combined platform and cave brings those functions together in one rock-inspired feature, while adding a natural-looking focal point to the enclosure. Its design is intended for everyday activity as well as shelter, rather than serving only as decoration.

How does the basking platform and cave work?

The slate surface absorbs heat during the day and releases warmth gradually as it cools, echoing temperature changes in a natural habitat. Beneath it, the cave entrance provides a sheltered spot where a reptile can hide; the cave can also be used as a moist hiding place. The raised, three-dimensional rock form creates a route for climbing and daily movement.

• The lower entrance offers a place to retreat from view.
• The rock-like contours support climbing activity.
• The top is designed for basking under sunlight or a heat lamp.

Which reptiles is this platform designed for?

GXSDJ makes this platform for a variety of reptiles and amphibians, including bearded dragons, geckos, ball pythons, turtles, lizards and snakes. The stated dimensions give you a specific footprint to compare with the space available in your habitat. Its 0.68-pound weight is intended to help it remain in place during use.

• Suitable for several named reptile types and amphibians.
• Check that the 7.7 × 4.7-inch base fits the area where you intend to position it.
• The platform is 2 inches high.

What materials and appearance does it have?

The structure combines natural slate with eco-friendly resin and has an imitation-rock pattern in natural colors. The brand identifies the materials as non-toxic and says they resist odor and color fading during long-term use. The textured, three-dimensional look is intended to evoke a natural habitat and give the enclosure a decorative focal point. The design is also intended to help relieve pet stress while meeting daily activity needs.

• Natural-color rock pattern adds a habitat-inspired look.
• Slate forms the heat-absorbing top surface.
• Resin shapes the integrated cave and climbing structure.

This GXSDJ platform is suited to reptile keepers looking for one habitat feature that combines a basking surface, climbing structure and sheltered cave. Its stated animal range, defined footprint and slate-and-resin construction make its intended use clear: a rock-style activity and retreat feature for reptile and amphibian enclosures.
