Separating fish can be useful when setting up breeding compartments or keeping baby, diseased, or aggressive fish apart. This kit gives you mesh panels and sliding bars to create a partition in the shape and size your setup needs. The sheets can also be adapted for selected craft and organizing projects.

What comes in the Haiabei divider kit?

The kit contains 8 black plastic mesh sheets and 20 binding bars, also called sliding bars. Each sheet measures 13.19 × 10.23 in (33.5 × 26.0 cm). Snap sheets together to make a larger panel, then use the bars to hold the mesh in place.

• 8 mesh sheets for making one or more panels.
• 20 bars for joining and securing mesh.

How do I fit the mesh to an aquarium?

Trim the plastic mesh to the size and shape you need, position it in the aquarium, and secure it with a black sliding bar. The sheets can be snapped together to form a larger panel when one sheet is not enough for the intended divider. Measure the area you want to partition against the sheet size before cutting.

• Cut the mesh to fit your planned partition.
• Use the sliding bars to fix the panel in position.

What is the divider designed to do?

The grid is intended to separate fish, including for breeding or for isolating diseased and aggressive fish. Keeping fish apart can help prevent them from biting each other, and the divider is designed to support the survival of baby fish. The plastic is identified as safe and environmentally protective, and intended not to affect aquatic animals or aquarium water quality.

• Create separate spaces for different fish.
• Use a partition for breeding or isolation.

Can I use the mesh for projects outside an aquarium?

Yes. The plastic grid is also suitable for DIY projects such as jewelry organizer boxes, tissue boxes, bags, bookmarks, and 3D models. Its cut-to-shape format lets you adapt the mesh for these listed project types.

• Craft and organizer projects.
• Bookmarks and 3D models.

The Haiabei kit suits aquarium keepers who want to build a custom fish partition, as well as makers using plastic mesh for the listed DIY projects. Its 8 sheets can be cut and joined with the 20 sliding bars to create a divider suited to the intended layout.
