Hakuna Pets Aluminium Dog and Cat Door with 2-Way Lock and Adjustable Tunnel

Hakuna Pets Deluxe is an aluminum dog and cat door for controlled access through doors, walls, screens or glass, with a two-way locking panel and adjustable tunnel for openings up to 2.8 in (7.1 cm) thick.

• Painted solid-aluminum frame and UV-resistant vinyl flap — made for indoor or outdoor pet traffic.
• Two-way locking panel — choose open or locked access for your pet.
• Magnetic flap and thick brush seal — help the flap return to centre and block drafts.
• Adjustable tunnel sections — fit doors, walls, screens and glass panels from 0 to 2.8 in (7.1 cm) thick.
• Four flap sizes for pets up to 220 lb (100 kg) — choose a size based on your pet’s measurements.
• Three-year limited warranty — covers the door under the manufacturer’s limited warranty.

Give a dog or cat a way to move between rooms or go outside while keeping the option to close off access. The Hakuna Pets Deluxe suits back doors to a yard, interior doors near a litter area, and suitable wall or screen installations.

Which size fits my dog or cat?

Choose from four flap sizes, with weight guidance from a 20 lb (9 kg) pet to a 220 lb (100 kg) pet. The Small flap measures 6.9 x 9.5 in (17.5 x 24.1 cm) and is for pets up to 20 lb (9 kg); Medium is 8.7 x 12.6 in (22.1 x 32 cm), up to 42 lb (19 kg); Large is 11.4 x 16.1 in (29 x 40.9 cm), up to 100 lb (45 kg); and X-Large is 14.6 x 23.4 in (37.1 x 59.4 cm), up to 220 lb (100 kg). Measure your pet’s chest width and shoulder height, add an inch (2.5 cm), and size up to allow for growth.

• Small and Medium sizes suit cats and smaller dogs.
• The larger sizes accommodate bigger dogs, including Great Danes within the stated weight limit.

Where can the Hakuna Pets door be installed?

It fits interior and exterior doors, walls, screen doors and glass panels with a thickness from 0 to 2.8 in (7.1 cm). Adjustable plastic tunnel sections can be cut to size and slide into the frame to match the installation thickness. For glass, a glazier must cut the pane; this door is not a sliding-track insert.

• Available frame colours: White, Silver and Black.
• Use the included paper template to mark the opening; cutting requires basic tools.

How does the flap and locking panel work?

Strong magnets pull the UV-resistant vinyl flap back to centre after use, while a thick side brush seal helps block drafts. Slide the two-way locking panel into place to set the door to open or locked, controlling when pets can pass and helping keep larger pets or unwanted visitors out.

• The painted solid-aluminum frame resists rust.
• The inner and outer frames screw together for a finished look on both sides.
