• 12.72 × 8.74-inch (32.3 × 22.2 cm) platform for turtles about 7 inches (17.8 cm) or larger, or multiple smaller turtles — provides room to bask.
• Hanging design with stainless steel hooks and suction cups — keeps the tank floor clear while helping hold the dock in place.
• Divided feeding tray — lets turtles eat while basking and helps keep food out of the water.
• Textured grid ramp — gives turtles grip as they climb out and allows water to drain.
• Smooth finish and rounded edges — make the basking surface comfortable and simple to wipe or rinse.

This hanging dock is made for turtle tanks where a dedicated basking area is needed without taking up floor space. Its platform, ramp and feeding tray bring climbing, basking and feeding together above the water, while the hanging support is designed for standard rectangular aquariums. Check the inside tank dimensions, frame width and water level to confirm a suitable fit.

Will this basking platform fit my turtle tank?

The platform measures 12.72 × 8.74 inches (32.3 × 22.2 cm), and the shortest inside dimension of the tank must be at least 14 inches (35.6 cm). It is intended for turtles around 7 inches (17.8 cm) or larger, as well as multiple smaller turtles, and is recommended for many 60-gallon breeder tanks (227 L) and tanks of 65 gallons or more (246 L).

It fits standard rectangular aquariums, including framed and rimless tanks. For framed tanks, the aquarium frame can be up to 1.57 inches (4 cm) wide.

• Measure the tank’s shortest inside dimension before choosing a spot for the platform.
• Confirm the aquarium frame width and water level for the intended setup.

How does the hanging support work?

Stainless steel hooks and strong suction cups help secure the platform as turtles climb on and off. The suspended design leaves the aquarium floor clear, and its patent-pending construction is made for medium-to-large turtles or several smaller turtles sharing the basking area.

Professional-grade materials are designed to handle daily heat and UV exposure. The zip-tie-free setup avoids the need for ties or complicated assembly.

• Made for standard rectangular aquariums, with framed and rimless options.
• No zip ties are needed for installation.

Can my turtle eat on the platform?

Yes. The built-in divided tray provides a place for your turtle to snack while basking, helping keep food out of the water and reducing mess in the tank. A small amount of food placed there can encourage turtles to climb up more often; regular basking supports normal metabolism and calcium absorption.

• The feeding tray is divided into multiple sections.
• Feeding above the water helps keep food from clouding the tank.

What makes the ramp and surface easy for turtles to use?

The gentle ramp has a textured grid rather than a smooth acrylic surface, helping turtles grip as they climb out of the water. Its grid allows water to drain and airflow to pass through, and helps reduce the risk of small claws getting caught. Rounded edges provide a comfortable surface for climbing, resting and basking.

The smooth finish helps resist dirt buildup. Wipe or rinse the platform as needed for straightforward cleaning.

• Grid texture provides traction while climbing.
• Rounded edges and a smooth finish support comfortable use and easy cleaning.

This platform suits turtle keepers who need an elevated basking and feeding area for medium-to-large turtles, or multiple smaller turtles, in a compatible rectangular aquarium. Its hanging support keeps the tank floor clear, while the integrated ramp and divided tray bring access, basking and feeding into one dock.
