Halti Headcollar for Medium Dogs, Size 2 Desert Sand, Reflective No-Pull Training Aid

The Halti Headcollar is a Size 2 training headcollar for medium dogs, designed to guide leash-pulling dogs, with lightweight nylon webbing.

• Padded neoprene nose band — designed for comfort while allowing panting, eating and drinking.
• Reflective accents — help improve visibility in low light.
• Safety link attaches to your dog’s collar — adds a connection between the headcollar and collar.
• Designed by Dr Roger Mugford as the first headcollar for dogs — built around guiding the head to influence direction.
• Halti and Dr Roger Mugford have more than 40 years of experience addressing leash pulling — informed by a long history of developing headcollar training tools.
• Designed to be used with the double-clip Halti Training Leash — for a combined no-pull training setup.

Leash pulling can make walks difficult to manage. This headcollar is a training aid for handlers who want to guide their dog’s direction during walks, including when a dog pulls strongly. Its design focuses on steering rather than relying on a standard collar alone: guiding the head helps guide the body.

How does the Halti Headcollar help with leash pulling?

The Halti Headcollar is designed to prevent pulling by gently steering your dog in the direction you guide. The approach follows a simple principle: when you guide the head, the body follows. It is intended as a humane training tool that gives handlers control, including with strong pullers.

• Use gentle directional guidance as part of leash-pulling training.
• The head-guiding design is the mechanism behind its steering action.

What materials and comfort features does it have?

The headcollar uses strong, lightweight nylon webbing and a padded neoprene nose band. The nose band is designed not to interfere with panting, eating or drinking, so these ordinary activities remain possible while your dog wears it.

• Nylon webbing forms the headcollar.
• Padded neoprene sits at the nose band.

How does the headcollar support visibility and connection?

Reflective accents are incorporated into the Halti Headcollar to improve visibility in low light, and a safety link connects it to your dog’s collar. Halti’s headcollar design was developed by Dr Roger Mugford, and the brand’s no-pull training approach can be paired with its double-clip Halti Training Leash.

• Attach the safety link to your dog’s collar.
• Pair with the double-clip Halti Training Leash for a coordinated training setup.

The Size 2 Desert Sand Halti Headcollar is suited to handlers of medium dogs who want a head-guiding training aid for leash pulling, with reflective details and a collar safety link. Its fit category, lightweight nylon webbing and padded neoprene nose band make its design clear at a glance.
