Trimming around a dog’s delicate areas calls for tools designed for close, controlled detail work. HASHIMOTO Curved Scissors are made for that purpose, including grooming around the eyes, face, legs and paws. Their curved shape is intended to help reach places that can be awkward to approach with straight scissors, making them useful for focused grooming rather than general-purpose cutting.

What areas are these curved grooming scissors made for?

They are designed for detailing around a dog’s eyes, face, legs and paws. The blade’s curve helps access spots that may be harder to reach with regular straight scissors, while the 440C stainless steel blades are crafted for sharpness, durability and precision. This combination is intended to support controlled trimming in areas where careful placement matters.

• Suitable for detail work on a dog’s face and around the eyes.
• Also made for trimming around legs and paws.
• The curved profile is designed to reach awkward areas.

What does the 30-degree curved blade do?

The 30-degree curve is designed to follow grooming contours and make it easier to approach hard-to-reach spots. It gives these scissors a specific role in detailed dog grooming, rather than the straight-blade shape of ordinary scissors. The 6.5-inch size and lightweight design provide the product’s stated form and handling characteristics.

• 30-degree blade curve for detail grooming.
• 6.5-inch scissors with an extremely lightweight design.
• 440C stainless steel blades.

Can groomers switch the scissors between hands?

Yes. Groomers can flip the scissors between hands while working, so they can change hands without walking around the grooming table or repositioning the dog. This multi-purpose handling feature can be useful when moving between grooming angles or working around the dog. The scissors are made for dog grooming detail work, with the curved blade intended for close areas rather than a claim of suitability for every cutting task.

• Can be switched from hand to hand during grooming.
• Designed for dog grooming, including detail trimming.
• Curved blade helps access areas awkward to reach with regular scissors.

HASHIMOTO Curved Scissors are suited to dog groomers who want a lightweight tool for detailed trimming around the face, eyes, legs and paws, and who value the option to switch hands while working. Their 30-degree curve and 440C stainless steel blades make them a defined choice for dog grooming detail work.
