HASHIMOTO Curved Dog Grooming Thinning Scissors, 7.0-Inch, 42 Teeth

HASHIMOTO Curved Fluffer Scissors are 7.0 inch (17.78 cm) dog grooming scissors with 42 teeth on one side, designed to thin coat for a natural-looking finish.

• 42 piano-shaped teeth and a 50% thinning rate — remove coat with a blending effect.
• Curved blades — work with the scissors’ curved profile while grooming.
• Symmetrical handle — use the scissors facing upward or downward.
• Japanese 440C stainless steel blades — made for sharp, smooth, durable grooming.
• Slim, lightweight body — designed to feel more comfortable in the hand during grooming.

For grooming that calls for coat thinning rather than an even, all-over cut, these fluffer scissors offer a dedicated tool for shaping a natural-looking result. Their curved form, tooth arrangement and reversible grip make them suited to groomers who want to adjust the direction of their work without switching to a different pair of scissors.

What finish are these curved fluffer scissors designed to create?

The 42 teeth on one side provide a 50% thinning rate, helping create a lovely, natural look. The teeth have a piano shape, and the curved blades are made for dog grooming where thinning and blending are the intended result.

• One-sided teeth for thinning coat.
• Curved form for grooming work that uses a curved blade.

Can I use the scissors in either direction?

Yes. The symmetrical handle allows the scissors to be used facing upward or downward without changing to another pair. Their 7.0-inch size gives you a concrete length to consider when choosing scissors for your grooming routine.

• Same pair works in both orientations.
• Designed for dog grooming.

What are the blades and handle designed for?

The blades are made from Japanese 440C stainless steel, with sharpness, a smooth feel and durability as stated product qualities. The slim body is designed for dog groomers, and its lightweight construction is intended to make the hand feel more comfortable during grooming.

• Blade material: Japanese 440C stainless steel.
• HASHIMOTO offers a 100% satisfaction or money-back guarantee; an unsatisfied buyer does not need to return the scissors.
