Havniva Elevated Slow Feeder Dog Bowl, 8.3-Inch Ceramic with Wooden Stand

Havniva Elevated Slow Feeder Dog Bowls are 8.3 in (21.1 cm) ceramic maze bowls with a wooden stand, designed to slow dogs’ eating and raise the bowl for easier access.

• Maze pattern and meal-lengthening ridges — make dogs work around the bowl to eat more slowly.
• Wooden raised stand — brings food and water up from floor level for easier access.
• Food-grade ceramic that is lead-free and cadmium-free — provides a bowl made for serving dog food and water.
• Glazed, stain-resistant surface that is dishwasher-safe — makes routine cleaning easier.
• Heavy ceramic bowl with a non-slip padding ring — helps limit sliding and tipping during meals.

Fast eating can make mealtimes difficult to manage. Havniva combines a maze-style eating surface with an elevated position, making it a feeding option for dogs who eat quickly and for owners who want the bowl raised off the floor. The ceramic bowl and wooden stand bring together the slow-feeder design and raised-bowl format.

How does the maze help slow eating?

The ceramic bowl’s ridges and maze pattern are designed to lengthen mealtimes; the brand’s claim is that this design can slow eating time by 10 times. Food is placed within the patterned bowl, so a dog eats around the ridges rather than from a flat, open surface.

• Maze-style interior with meal-lengthening ridges.
• Designed for dogs that eat quickly.

What does the raised stand do?

The included wooden stand elevates the bowl, so a dog can reach food or water without bending as low as with a floor-level bowl. Raising the dish also keeps it away from dust and dirt on the ground and is intended to help reduce strain on the neck and joints.

• Wooden stand is included with the bowl.
• Raised placement suits feeding food or water.

What is the bowl made of, and how do you clean it?

The bowl is made from food-grade ceramic that is lead-free, cadmium-free and non-toxic, with a glazed surface. The glaze is stain-resistant, and the bowl is dishwasher-safe for cleaning after meals. Ceramic is heavier than plastic, and a ring of non-slip padding on the bottom helps keep the bowl in place. The ceramic is also described as chew-resistant: unlike plastic, it cannot be bitten through or broken into plastic fragments.

• Glazed ceramic surface.
• Non-slip padding ring on the bottom.
• Dishwasher-safe bowl.

Havniva is suited to dog owners looking for a maze-style feeder and a raised bowl in one setup, especially for dogs that eat quickly or have difficulty reaching a floor-level dish. The 8.3 in ceramic bowl, wooden stand and non-slip bottom bring slow-feeding and raised access together.
