Heather's Heroes Sidekick Dog Headcollar with Leash, Mini Turquoise, Gentle Training Rope

Heather's Heroes Sidekick is a dog headcollar with a leash, designed to help guide dogs through leash reactivity and behavior challenges; this turquoise Mini version uses a 1/4-inch (6.35 mm) rope.

• Headcollar and leash in one training tool — combines guidance and a lead in a single product.
• Soft rope with gentle nose pressure points — provides subtle guidance during training.
• Designed for leash reactivity, excitement, fear, and anxiety — addresses several common behavior challenges.
• Supports teaching acceptable behaviors and building a closer connection — brings training and relationship-building together.
• Trusted by K9 Lifeline as a daily training essential — a professional training-facility choice for dogs of all temperaments.

Pulling or reactive behavior can make walks and other leash situations challenging. Sidekick is made to provide a way to guide a dog while working on behavior, with a combined headcollar and leash rather than a leash alone. Its stated purpose includes both handling behavior challenges and helping owners teach acceptable behaviors.

What behavior challenges is Sidekick designed to address?

Heather's Heroes Sidekick is designed to help with leash-related behavior challenges, including reactivity and fear. It also addresses excitement and anxiety, making its intended use broader than pulling alone. The tool is presented as a way to work on these behaviors through gentle guidance, not as a guarantee of a particular training outcome.

• Leash reactivity
• Excitement
• Fear
• Anxiety

How does the Sidekick provide guidance?

The soft rope creates subtle pressure points on the dog's nose to offer gentle guidance. Heather's Heroes compares this reassuring sensation to the touch of a caring mother. The design combines the headcollar and lead in one Sidekick, serving as a training lead as well as a way to guide the dog.

• Pressure points are placed on the nose.
• The rope is described as soft.
• The guiding sensation is intended to be subtle and reassuring.
