Getting into a vehicle can be a challenge for a large dog when access involves a step up. Heeyoo’s portable car steps are made to help dogs reach cars, SUVs and trucks, while giving owners a foldable option for travel. Their combination of a non-slip stepping surface and safety tether is designed to support a more secure boarding routine.

Will the adjustable height fit my vehicle?

The steps adjust from 23.5 in (59.7 cm) to 28 in (71.1 cm), so you can set them within that range for vehicle access. For a side door, make sure the opening is wider than 19 in (48.3 cm). Measure the opening and compare it with the required clearance before choosing where to use the steps.

• Adjustable height range accommodates different access heights within the stated limits.
• Side-door clearance requirement: more than 19 in (48.3 cm).

What helps dogs use the steps with confidence?

The rubber-coated surface is non-slip, and a stainless steel carabiner safety tether provides an additional protection feature. Together, these details are intended to support a steadier vehicle-entry setup, with a surface made for paws and a tether connection point for added security.

• Non-slip rubber coating covers the stepping surface.
• Safety tether uses a stainless steel carabiner.

Are the dog steps practical to take on trips?

Yes. The foldable design is compact for storage in a vehicle, and the steps weigh 15 lb (6.8 kg), making them portable to carry. They are made for easy setup and storage, so they can be brought along for outings that involve loading your dog into a vehicle.

• Folds for compact storage.
• Designed for carrying and straightforward setup.

These steps are suited to owners of large dogs who want a portable way to help their pets access a car, SUV or truck. Compare your vehicle’s access height with the adjustment range and allow for the side-door opening requirement when relevant. Their metal construction, foldable design and non-slip stepping surface make them a vehicle-access option for dogs weighing within the stated support limit.
