How is the Hilspace harness designed to fit dachshunds?

The vest is specially shaped for long-bodied, short-legged dogs, including miniature and standard dachshunds. Size L fits a chest measurement of 53–63 cm (21–25 in), and the adjustable straps help create a snug fit. Compare your dog’s chest measurement with this range when choosing this size; breed name alone does not determine fit.

• Rose-red colour.
• Vest-style coverage for a chest-centered fit.
• Suitable for dachshunds, weenie dogs and other small to medium-sized breeds when the chest measurement fits.

How does the vest help reduce rubbing and pulling?

The harness places its structure around the chest and keeps straps away from the underarms to help prevent chafing and irritation. Its vest design distributes pressure evenly across the chest and is designed to reduce pulling strain while helping prevent escapes. These features suit daily walks and training.

• Underarm-conscious strap placement.
• Chest-based pressure distribution.
• Escape-resistant vest construction.

What materials and visibility features does it have?

Hilspace uses thickened sandwich mesh for a breathable, wear-resistant harness suited to everyday activity. Reflective details are built in to enhance visibility during nighttime or other low-light walks. The adjustable straps allow fit changes as your dog grows.

• Breathable mesh construction.
• Reflective details for low-light visibility.
• Adjustable straps for a closer fit as your dog grows.

This harness is suited to dachshund owners looking for a vest-style option for walks, training and outdoor activities, as well as owners of other small to medium-sized dogs whose chest measurements fall within the size range. Its chest-centered design, breathable mesh and adjustable fit make it a practical choice for dogs with the body shape it was designed to accommodate.
