Hompet Cat Litter Mat 2-Pack, 36 x 36-Inch Washable Waterproof Floor Protector

Hompet Cat Litter Mat is a 36 x 36 two-mat set designed to catch tracked litter and help protect the floor around your cat’s litter box.

• Textured surface — helps lift loose litter from paws for quick shake-off.
• Four-layer construction — combines a soft top, absorbent core and waterproof barrier.
• Machine washable and built for 300+ washes — makes repeated cleaning and reuse practical.
• Anti-slip backing — grips tile, wood and laminate floors.
• Two mats in the set — makes it easier to keep one ready while the other is being washed.

Litter can scatter beyond the box as cats step out, leaving a mess to manage around a frequently used area. Hompet’s large-format mats are made to create a wider landing zone at the litter-box exit, helping keep loose litter contained before it spreads across the floor. The two-mat set is suitable for multi-cat homes and other busy litter areas, where regular cleaning and rotation can be useful.

How does the mat help catch litter?

The textured surface helps lift loose litter from your cat’s paws as they step onto the mat, leaving particles on top for easy shake-off. This surface-level cleanup differs from groove or honeycomb-style mats that hold debris deep inside their structure. Shake the loose litter away, then machine wash the mat when it needs a deeper clean.

• Loose litter stays accessible on the surface for shaking off.
• Designed to be reused after washing.
• Built to handle 300+ washes without losing performance.

Does the mat help protect floors from urine?

Yes. Its four-layer construction includes a soft top, an extra-heavy absorbency core and a 100% waterproof barrier to help stop liquid and urine from seeping through to the floor. The core absorbs moisture and helps lock it in, while also helping reduce odors. This makes the mat useful beneath and around the litter-box area, including when a cat misses the box.

• Absorbent core helps contain moisture within the mat.
• Waterproof barrier helps protect the floor underneath.
• Soft quilted fabric is gentle on sensitive paws.

Will it stay in place on my floor?

The anti-slip backing is designed to grip tile, wood and laminate, helping the mat stay positioned around the litter box. Its quilted fabric provides a soft surface for cats to step on as they leave the box, supporting comfortable everyday use. For the intended fit, compare the 36 x 36 size with the floor area available around your litter box.

• Made for tile, wood and laminate floors.
• Extra-large coverage suits high-traffic litter areas and multi-cat households.
• Soft quilted surface offers a paw-friendly place to step.

Can I use the mats for anything besides litter?

Yes. Hompet mats can also serve as a feeding mat, crate liner or pet resting area. Their two-mat format supports wash rotation, so one can be in use while the other is being cleaned. Packaging folds may be visible at first; they naturally relax within a few days of regular use. To help the mat flatten sooner, fold it in the opposite direction, place a heavy object on it, or wash it before first use.

• Two mats support a clean-mat rotation.
• Other suggested uses include feeding areas, crates and pet resting spots.
• Initial folds can relax with use or through the flattening steps above.

Hompet Cat Litter Mat suits cat owners who want a broad, washable litter-catching area, especially in multi-cat or high-traffic homes. It also works for feeding, crate lining and pet resting, with the waterproof barrier and absorbent core designed to help keep the floor beneath it protected.
