Hompet Cat Litter Mat 2-Pack, 48 x 72 in Large Waterproof Machine Washable Mats

Hompet Cat Litter Mat is a two-piece set designed to catch paw-carried litter and help protect floors, with each mat measuring 48 x 72 in (122 x 183 cm).

• Four-layer construction with a 100% waterproof barrier — helps stop liquid from reaching the floor.
• Extra-heavy absorbency core — locks in moisture and helps reduce odors.
• Textured surface — lets loose litter shake off instead of sitting deep in grooves.
• Machine washable and built to handle 300+ washes — supports repeated use.
• Anti-slip backing and soft quilted fabric — made for everyday use on tile, wood, or laminate floors.
• Multi-purpose design — can also be used as a feeding mat, crate liner, or pet resting area.

Litter scatter around a box can spread across the floor as cats step out. Hompet’s large-format mats create a wider collection area around the litter zone, suited to multi-cat households and busy litter areas. The two-piece set also lets you keep a mat in use while the other is being washed.

How does Hompet Cat Litter Mat catch loose litter?

The textured surface helps lift loose litter from a cat’s paws as they leave the box. Litter stays on top of the mat rather than settling deep inside grooves or honeycomb pockets, so you can shake it off before cleaning. To refresh the mat, dump off the loose debris, then machine wash and reuse it.

The surface design makes routine cleanup straightforward without requiring litter to be dug out of deep channels. Hompet’s construction is intended for repeated washing, with the mat built to handle 300+ washes without losing performance.

• Shake loose litter from the surface.
• Machine wash the mat for reuse.

Does Hompet Cat Litter Mat help protect floors from urine?

Yes. Its four-layer system combines a soft top layer, an extra-heavy absorbency core, and a 100% waterproof barrier to help keep liquid from seeping through. The core helps lock in moisture and reduce odors, while the barrier helps protect floors from litter box misses.

This layered construction is designed to keep the mat’s surface clean and dry while helping shield the floor beneath it. It offers a defined spot for catching moisture around the litter box, rather than relying on a surface-only mat.

• Absorbency core helps hold moisture.
• Waterproof barrier helps prevent seep-through.

Will Hompet Cat Litter Mat stay in place and feel comfortable?

The soft quilted fabric is made to feel gentle on sensitive paws, and the anti-slip backing grips tile, wood, and laminate floors. Together, these features make the mat suitable for a regular spot beside the litter box, where cats step onto it as they exit.

For the intended floor fit, place the mat on tile, wood, or laminate. Its large coverage gives scattered litter more room to land around the box, while the backing helps the mat stay put during everyday use.

• Soft quilted fabric for paw contact.
• Backing designed to grip three common hard-floor surfaces.

What comes in the Hompet Cat Litter Mat set, and how else can it be used?

The set contains two mats, each measuring 48 x 72 in (122 x 183 cm), for a broad litter-area zone or a wash-and-use rotation. Beyond litter collection, each mat can serve as a feeding mat, crate liner, or pet resting area.

When first unpacked, folds from packaging may be visible. They are expected to relax within a few days of regular use. To help the mat lie flat sooner, fold it in the opposite direction, place a heavy object on top, or wash it once before first use.

• Two mats in the set for rotation.
• Suitable for litter areas, feeding spaces, crates, or a pet resting spot.
• Initial washing may help the mat relax and lie flat more quickly.

Hompet Cat Litter Mat suits cat households that want a broad, reusable surface around the litter box, especially multi-cat homes and high-traffic litter areas. Its 48 x 72 in size, washable construction, and alternative uses make it a practical fit for keeping a defined pet area on tile, wood, or laminate.
