Hompet Cat Litter Mat 2 Pack, 72 x 72 Large Washable Waterproof Mats

Hompet Cat Litter Mat is a two-mat set of 72 x 72 mats designed to catch tracked litter and help protect floors around the litter box.

• Textured surface keeps loose litter on top for quick shaking and cleanup.
• Machine washable and reusable for 300+ washes, according to the product performance claim.
• Four-layer construction includes an extra-heavy absorbency core and a 100% waterproof barrier to help contain moisture.
• Anti-slip backing grips tile, wood, and laminate floors to help keep the mat in place.
• Soft quilted fabric offers a gentle-feeling surface for cats’ paws.
• Also usable as a feeding mat, crate liner, or pet resting area.

Loose litter around a box can spread across the floor as cats step out, while litter box misses can leave liquid where it is difficult to clean. Hompet’s large-format mats create a wider landing zone around the box, making them suited to multi-cat homes and busy litter areas. The textured top is designed to catch loose litter without burying it deep in grooves, so routine cleanup can be quick and straightforward.

How does the mat catch litter and clean up?

The textured surface helps lift loose litter from your cat’s paws as they leave the box, and the litter remains on the surface for easy shake-off. Empty loose debris, then machine wash the mat and reuse it. Its construction is designed to handle 300+ washes without losing performance.

• Shake loose litter off the top before washing.
• Machine washing supports repeat use as part of regular litter-area cleanup.
• For a washing rotation, the two-mat set lets one mat be ready while the other is being cleaned.

How does it help protect the floor from liquid?

The mat uses a four-layer construction with a soft top layer, an extra-heavy absorbency core, and a 100% waterproof barrier. The core helps lock in moisture and reduce odors, while the barrier helps prevent liquid and urine from seeping through to the floor. This combination is made to help keep the mat surface clean and dry and protect against litter box misses.

• The absorbent core is intended to hold moisture within the mat.
• The waterproof barrier helps shield the floor beneath it.
• Its anti-slip backing is designed to grip tile, wood, or laminate flooring.

Where else can you use these mats?

Beyond the litter area, Hompet Cat Litter Mat can also serve as a feeding mat, crate liner, or pet resting area. The soft quilted fabric feels gentle under sensitive paws, making it suitable for everyday contact. For litter-box use, place it where your cat steps out so the textured surface can help catch loose litter before it travels farther across the room.

• Use one around the litter box and keep the second available for rotation.
• Other stated uses include a feeding spot, crate lining, and a pet resting area.
• If folds are visible when unpacked, regular use can help them disappear within a few days; folding the mat in the opposite direction or placing a heavy object on it may help it flatten sooner.

Washing the mat once before its first use can also help it relax and lie flat. Hompet Cat Litter Mat suits households looking for broad litter-area coverage, reusable cleanup, and a mat with additional uses around the home. It is a two-piece, washable set designed for litter tracking and everyday pet-area use.
