Hompet Cat Litter Mats, 2 Pack 54x54, Washable Waterproof Non-Slip Floor Protection

Hompet Cat Litter Mat 2 Pack is a machine-washable set designed to catch litter and help protect floors, with two 54x54 mats and four-layer construction.

• Extra-large coverage — creates a wider zone around the litter box to help reduce tracked litter.
• Textured top — lifts loose litter from paws for quick shake-off.
• Four-layer design with a waterproof barrier — helps absorb moisture and protect floors from liquid and urine.
• Quilted fabric and anti-slip backing — gives paws a soft surface and helps keep the mat in place.
• Machine washable and built to handle 300+ washes — supports repeat use and easy cleaning.

Litter scattered around a box can travel into busy areas of the home, while liquid from a litter box miss can reach the floor beneath it. These mats provide a larger landing area for cats stepping out of the box, making them suited to multi-cat homes and frequently used litter areas. The two-mat set also makes it easier to keep one available while the other is being washed.

How much space do the Hompet mats cover?

Each mat measures 54x54, giving the litter area a broad surface around the box. The larger coverage is designed to help catch litter before it spreads across nearby floors. It can suit a high-traffic litter station or a home with multiple cats using the same area.

• Two mats are included in the set.
• Use around a litter box to create a wider area for litter to land.
• The design can also serve as a feeding mat, crate liner, or pet resting area.

How do the mats trap litter and help protect floors?

The textured surface helps loosen litter from paws as cats step off the mat, leaving debris on top for easy removal. Unlike deep grooves or honeycomb-style designs, the surface litter can be shaken off rather than dug out from recessed pockets. Inside, an absorbent core helps hold moisture and reduce odors, while the waterproof barrier helps prevent seep-through.

• The construction has four layers, including a soft top layer, an absorbent core, and a waterproof barrier.
• The barrier is made to help guard against liquid and urine reaching the floor.
• Anti-slip backing grips tile, wood, and laminate flooring.

How should I clean and use the Hompet mats?

Shake loose litter from the surface, then machine wash the mat for reuse. The set is designed to withstand 300+ washes without losing performance, making it suitable for regular litter-area cleaning. Quilted fabric provides a soft-feeling surface for sensitive paws, while the backing helps the mat stay put on common hard floors.

• The two-mat set supports washing rotation, so one mat can be ready while the other is being cleaned.
• For quicker flattening after unpacking, fold the mat in the opposite direction or place a heavy object on it.
• Washing once before first use can help the mat relax; packaging folds are expected to fade within a few days of regular use.

Hompet Cat Litter Mat 2 Pack suits cat owners who want a larger, reusable surface around a litter box, especially in multi-cat or high-traffic areas. Its textured top, absorbent core, and waterproof barrier make it a practical choice for catching loose litter and helping protect the floor beneath the litter station.
